Located in the heart of Old-Quebec, "La Maison du Cocher" is offering No Smoking, fully furnished, historic-style apartments as well as a unique coach house featuring antique stone walls, fireplaces, and a garden terrace. Your stay will be quiet and extremely private.
There are all the comforts of your own fully-equipped kitchen, if you decide to prepare your own meals. During your stay if you prefer restaurants, they are all at your door's step.
Most bedrooms overlook the garden terrace surrounded by an eight foot high stone wall with access to the roof top sundeck. In many bathroom you will find an antique bath tub on a marble floor. It is possible to have up to six people sharing the apartment.
There is no charge for children or teenagers. If you have a baby, a bassinet, high chair, and a stroller are available. You will have full access to laundry facilities including iron and ironing board. If needed, each units have Internet access via your modem making it is possible to use your electronic mail.
To enjoy the ambiance of Old-Quebec , museums, restaurants, cafés, terraces, and clubs are all within walking distance. Parking is available close by.

My two sisters and I staying here for three nights during the French celebration (8/3 -8/6/2011). It was great for us. Loved the convenience for everything. Jocelyn was very plesant and has created a wonderful apartment that has everything anyone would need for a great vacation. We ate breakfast in and enjoyed the fabulous food of Quebec City for lunch and dinner. Small markets right around the corner for any needs. I would definately stay here again when we return to Quebec City. Thank you, Jocelyn.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We arrived right at the end of the Festival d'été de Québec (July 8-18) and the historic district was mobbed with people (for this reason, the city gave me the feel of Mardi Gras in New Orleans). What a joy, then, to be able to walk around with all the revelers, and then just walk back to Maison de Cocher anytime we wanted. We rented Unit 2 which looked very well kept and was nicely decorated. The owner Jocelyn was very helpful (accompanied my husband to find the parking garage the day we arrived, and loaned us umbrellas one showery morning). We only had a short time to stay in Quebec City, but enjoyed every minute. There is so much to see and the restaurants we ate at had great food. Be sure to eat at Aux Anciens Canadiens-built in 1645 and has great Lac St Jean meat pie lunch special.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Stayed in Apt #4 - charming & functional (except bathtub/shower combo is like taking a shower in a giant baggy as the shower curtain sticks to you...) - AMAZING LOCATION - less than a 10 minute walk from virtually everything we wanted to do and only a block walk to major shopping/dining street. Ample space for our family of 5 with a mattress on the floor for our youngest. Reasonably priced parking lot only a block away - we parked the car & never touched it. Can't wait to go back...Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
