  I concur with all of the positive reviews. We had a wonderful stay and, like others, plan to stay here again. Ballard is a walkable community and the location of the townhouse is so convenient. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and ready to please. Short and sweet, I highly recommend!

  Perfect in every way! Hesitant to give an excellent review only for fear of this place not being available next time we visit Seattle!!! Clean, comfortable, convenient and homey. We rented a car for the week, but could have gotten by without because it was so conveniently located to everything ~ including public transportation. I'm "homesick" already and want to get back to Seattle!

  We rented this townhouse for a week when our son got married in Seattle in December. We had 4 adults and 2 young children. Description and photos were accurate. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had a fully equipped kitchen. The layout in on 3 levels which is nice for privacy but a lot of steps. Great to have parking off street even if it was tight - typical for Seattle neighborhoods. The location is 2 blocks from Market St in Ballard where there are many restaurants and shops. Try The Matador for nachos and the Cafe Besalu bakery. And 2 blocks from a QFC grocery store. Overall it was an excellent place to stay and we'd recommend it.

  We used to live in Ballard, so really were excited to find this townhouse. Great location, and great amenities. We made gingerbread cookies, and everything was there even for baking! Great kitchen. It was wonderful to have friends over to the townhouse so we did not have to be out with kids. Very helpful and kind owners. All was clean, stylish and comfortable.

  My husband and I spent four nights at this terrific townhouse in Ballard. The location is ideal--within easy walking distance of a supermarket, shops, and restaurants of all kinds--really the heart of Ballard. Also, walking to the locks and waterfront is easy to do from the house, as well as the farmers' market on Sunday. It was fun to get the vibe of this interesting neighborhood. We did not ride a city bus, but public transportation is easy to access. The house was as described--there were no surprises. It is immaculate, well appointed, and very comfortable. Some reviewers previously commented on the high beds, so we were prepared for that. The bed we slept in was really comfortable, so sleeping was not a problem. As with all townhouses, there are stairs, but my husband, who has had knee replacement, had no difficulty navigating the steps. We did not cook (too many restaurants within walking distance), but the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped; we could have fixed a banquet had we wanted to. Also, the full-size washer and dryer adjacent to the bedrooms were handy. We have always stayed at hotels on previous trips to Seattle; it's nice to know we have another option--one that is larger and more comfortable--and we would certainly stay at this townhouse again. We highly recommend it.

  Our stay at the townhouse in Ballard was great! Mardean provided VERY detailed information on how everything worked, from the showers down to the television. She also provided great info about the neighborhood, where to park the car, etc. Be aware, the steps are very steep and the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor, so if stairs are difficult for you, this is NOT the right house for you! We didn't mind, though, and there was plenty of room. The only thing I would suggest is, like previous reviewers have said, more towels in the bathrooms (especially the top floor bathroom) and more and better lighting in the bedrooms. We didn't cook while we were there, but it seemed as though the house was certainly stocked for it, and we wouldn't have had any problem at all. Great house, we would definitely rent again should the occasion arise -- very easily accessible to "downtown" Ballard, but still a cozy neighborhood!

  Our stay was fabulous. The condo was beautiful, spotless and had every amenity one could wish for. The owner was very helpful and responded to our questions immediately. It was our first visit to Seattle and the location was near all major attractions, as well as shopping and restaurants. I hope the next time we visit our family, this rental will be available.

  We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, upscale townhome in Ballard. We stayed an entire week and found it to be a great home and was very convenient to everything we planned in Seattle and the nearby areas. The owners had it fully equipped with everything essential to make our stay comfortable and convenient and left detailed information about every feature of the townhome. There is a great grocery within walking distance (2 blocks) and a bus stop to make parking your car and catching a free ride anywhere in Seattle simple. The fun hub of Ballard is also all within walking distance of this townhome. We highly recommend this property. It is charming, comfortable, and beautifully decorated and equipped.

  My husband and I spent a week in Ballard visiting family and enjoying the city. The townhome was perfect. Everything described in the information was correct--it was a perfect location, clean and maintained and just like home. Anything you would need to make your trip comfortable was available to you. Our biggest enjoyment was walking to the locks every morning and watching the boats and the fish. Every day was a new adventure. We will stay in this townhome again if it is available to us. It was perfect!

  This home was exactly as shown on the website; no surprises. The owner has put together a very helpful binder with all kinds of recommendations as well as guides for using the appliances in the condo. Close to lots of restuarants, the bus, and the locks. The parking was a real plus since street parking is not possible. It is a very "vertical" townhouse, so if you have bad knees it might be tough for you. Clean and comfortable and nicely decorated.

  We really enjoyed our stay in Ballard and fell in love with the area. The location of this property is excellent. We were able to walk to mostly everything. The parking area was a bit of a challenge, but having a rental car with a back-up camera made that a bit easier to deal with. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is to provide more than 4 bath towels in the townhouse. Everything else was satisfactory or above. The townhouse was quite comfortable for the three of us (my husband, my teenage son, and myself). We would recommend this property to others who are interested in staying in Ballard. We were able to walk to some of the best restaurants around - La Isla, India Bistro, Thai Kitchen. We also enjoyed a leisurely walk to the Ballard Locks.

  We recently stayed at this rental while visiting family in Seattle. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Everything we needed was provided for us. The rental was within walking distance of area attractions. The beds were very comfortable and it was helpful having access to a washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again!

  We came to visit newly moved daughter and her family.The condo and its owners could not have been better. Immacualtly clean,wonderfully stock to fix any meal.Beds so comfy. Walked to grocery and restaurants.Lovely patio for family gathering.We'll be back. Parking was a little testy but that is life in the city.It is on three floors but we enjoyed because of the privacy it gave.

  This is a lovely condo! My husband and I, and another couple, stayed at this well appointed condo for three nights. We had plenty of room for privacy and also lots of shared areas for cooking or having a meal together or enjoying a bottle of wine. A few of the things we loved about this condo: the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to make a great meal, the beds were very comfortable, the condo is a five minute walk to Ballard's many shops and restaurants, the fact that it's not a hotel and of course the price! We searched many VRBO listings for a condo in Ballard and this one far exceeded our expectations. The owner was wonderful to work with, extremely helpful and kind. I really don't have one bad thing to say about our experience. We will definitely be back to this lovely spot!

  This townhouse is well situated in Ballard as it is close to shopping, restaurants, public transportation and the like. We were not happy with some aspects: the beds were so high off the floor -- and on risers -- that step stools are needed and getting in and out of the beds is unsafe for kids and even adults; lighting in the bedrooms is very inadequate to nonexistent and what lamps there were were too low relative to bed height and too wimpy to read; the owners have way too much of their personal belongings around the house, making it feel a bit like we were intruding in someone's home rather than renting a vacation house; and, finally, the overuse of fragrant oils and potpourrie were overpowering. On the bright side, the layout of the unit is good and it was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is decent, but the pots' and pans' non-stick surfaces have seen better days and we bought our own nearby. Parking (although tricky to maneuver out of) was a plus to have. Overall, we'd look elsewhere for next time.

  Owner response: Our goal in sharing our townhouse is to create a warm, comfortable enviornment that reflects our style and taste. The atmosphere is very traditional with comforters from L.L. Bean, objects d' art gathered from travels and a traditional European flair of raised beds. Low lighting in bedrooms lends an air of intimacy. Our objective is to offer visitors to Seattle an atmosphere of coziness, style and grace. Thank you for the comments about the skillets; they will be replaced.

  My husband, two-year old daughter and I stayed here for one month in the coldest, dreariest time of the year, and couldn't have asked for a warmer, cozier, cleaner, more comfortable place to stay than this lovely condo. It had every comfort of home you could dream of, and anything we asked for was promptly delivered by the owner. It was exactly as described, and if anything, surpassed expectations. We are sad to leave, as this place has truly come to feel like home, and we hope to stay here the next time we're in Seattle.
