The NEWEST home to be built in the lovely private gated community of Water's Edge, adjacent to Rosemary Beach. This gorgeous vacation home is on the south side (beach side) of 30a, located 35 yards from the beach stairs. This subdivision has only 25 homes, which allows for the low density private beach access. 'Vie De Mer' is a newly constructed 5+Bedroom, 5 1/2 bath vacation home with over 3,200 square feet. It is a 3-level private home with office and media room. Beautiful hardwood and tile floors throughout. It is outfitted with high speed wireless internet and flat screen TV's with Pandora, Netflix, Hulu & internet apps in all of the bedrooms. All beds (to include the bunk beds!) have overhead reading lights for those who enjoy reading in bed.
The main floor boasts a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel Dacor appliances, double refrigerators, 5 burner gas cooktop, and double ovens with warming drawer. The open floor plan makes entertaining easy with a dining room table for eight, a bar area that seats five, and a games table that seats six. Enjoy your own music through the IPOD friendly devices, or relax in front of the 55-inch LED flat-screen TV with surround sound, outfitted with Blue-Ray, Netflix, Hulu TV and Pandora Radio. A powder room is located just off of the foyer.
Stroll out to the private courtyard and enjoy one of the largest pools in the neighborhood which has a state-of-the-art non chlorinated (saline) cleaning system. The pool has a water fall with LED lighting. Bask in the Florida sun poolside, or take a short 35 yard stroll down to the beach stairs which lead you to the beautiful white sandy beach.
This home has 3 master suites! The first master bedroom is a large bedroom with a king bed, walk-in closet and private bathroom which is outfitted with a granite counter. Located on the first floor, it is especially nice for anyone with reduced mobility concerns. All bathrooms have a bench seat and a safety bar in the showers.
The main master bedroom on the second floor is unbelievable! This large bedroom with king bed has a private porch that overlooks the pool, an expansive bathroom with granite countertops, double vanities, soaking tub w/hand shower, and separate shower with dual shower heads.
The other second floor master is also fabulous, especially with the lovely Gulf views from the bedroom and its huge private wrap around porch. It has a king bed and a seating area. The bathroom has granite double vanities, soaking tub with hand shower and shower with dual shower heads.
For the younger crowd we have a fantastic bunk room on this floor that has two bunk beds, each with twin over full sized beds, that will accommodate six people. It has its own private bathroom.
A full sized dedicated laundry room with extra large capacity front loading washer/dryer is on this level. It has ample storage space, a sink and plenty of room to sort and fold laundry.
The second floor also has a private office which is multi-functional, as it can be used as a quiet reading space, work area, or nursery/young child's sleeping area. A Pack-n-play is available for your use (please bring your own sheets for that).
The third floor bedroom has two full size beds with a semi-private bathroom. The adjacent media room is a hit with kids and adults! It has a 55' LED flat panel TV with Blue-Ray, Netflix, Pandora Radio, and IPOD friendly devices with surround sound. We also have a Wii gaming system. Both rooms have access to a huge wrap around deck with views of the Gulf and Rosemary Beach. The media room is a perfect place to wind down at the end of the day with appetizers and drinks; it has a small kitchen with a full refrigerator, sink, dishwasher drawer, and Advantium microwave oven. No need to go downstairs for food and drinks! Store it and prepare it in on the third floor and enjoy the view while you entertain family and friends on the large wraparound deck with breathtaking views of the Gulf and Rosemary Beach!
The gated community provides privacy and serenity for a relaxing vacation, yet is conveniently located within a 3-minute walk to Rosemary Beach restaurants, coffee shop, boutiques, and spa. There is a 17-mile walk/bike path located just outside our entrance, and a Tom Fazio golf course is just a mile away. Fishing, sailing and kayaking are also available locally. Rosemary Beach has tennis courts and a fitness center that can be accessed for a fee. The Publix food store is only about a 5-minute car ride east on 98. The new outdoor shopping area in Panama City, called Pier Park, is a 10-minute drive east on 98. Pier Park has numerous restaurants and stores, and a state-of-the-art movie cinema. Seaside is 7 miles west, and the Sandestin Outlet Mall, Silver Sands, is about 20 miles west.

Our stay at this home was first class and we went ahead and rented the sister home for next spring break as soon as we arrived home because this one was already booked for spring break 2014, and we knew the quality of the home and the owners. The owners were extremely attentive when we had a question and we felt they really cared about our experince and wanted us to come back. I have rented many homes in south walton and this is by far the best. Also, we were right next to Rosemary Beach so we were able to walk to many restaurants and shops without paying Rosemary prices for a 5BR. I highly recommend this home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

After staying at Vie de Mer with our children and another family, the bar has been set very high! The house was everything we wanted and more. The walk to the beach was almost nonexistent and the proximity to all the Rosemary restaurants and shops was perfect. Loved the saltwater pool and the abundance of flat screen TVs. The owners were wonderful. We can't wait for our next trip!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Just came back from a wondeful family vacation at Vie de Mer. The house surpassed our expectations and shows even better than the photos. Owners were a pleasure to deal with and addressed all our questions promptly. The home is a very short walk to the beautiful beach and the neighborhood was quiet. It's also a short walk to restaurants and shops in Rosemary Beach. The kitchen was well outfitted with everything you can possibly need from high end cookware to an assortment of serving dishes. Kids loved the pool after spending the day at the beach. The home is larger than it appears on the photos. The house was great for a large group. The bedrooms were large and the kids room was great. The third floor deck was a great get away with a wonderful view. The kids loved the pool with the fountain. We walked to shops restaurants and the beach. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. We had a great time with our kids and grandkids and made wonderful memories for all.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

The place was nice, and I was happy with almost everything. The descrition was very accurate, and there was nothing unexpected. I was most delighted with the pool as we had a 3 and a 5 year old that used it 2-3 times a day. Having your own private pool is key, and this saline pool was perfect!! The house was well equiped with everything we needed even though we really only did the cooking at home one night. The space of the layout is perfect as we never felt crowded with 6 adults and two small children. The audio/visual was way beyond most and very nice to watch the Olympics on 60" HDTVs. I loved the detailed instructions on all of the features as well. Even the above 40 knew how to get the stuff working!! The walk to the beach was a lot closer than expected as well. I expected a little bit of a haul since you are not directly on the beach, but that was pleasantly shorter than expected. The chair service was awesome and saved a lot of headache as well. Rosemary was 1 minute walk which was nice. Very easy for to-go orders or cocktails with no driving. If I have to pick one thing to say not as great, I would say the bedding, pillows, and sofas were not that comfortable. For the price I expected more of a down pillow-top fell like at the W Hotels...save some TV money and upgrade these items.... this is my only complaint. This is b/c I had to have one negative. Great trip for this Arkansas Family!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We have enjoyed the Emerald Coast area for the past 7 years. This home was absolutely the best. It was better than advertised, the owners were exceptional to work with, and the experience was perfect. The details of the home were perfect for our family! Our family (11 people) spent a week at this home and it was every bit as good as billed. The owners thought of every detail in order to help make your stay complete. The living area was very spacious and comfortable and we each had our own space as well. Except to go to the beach, we hardly left the house the entire week. The kitchen and eating area was superb and what a wonderful pool. We loved it ! The place has more flat screen televisons than Best Buy. The media room has its own kitchen as well. What a house ! We had the perfect vacation at Vie de Mer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We recently stayed at Vie de Mer for a family beach vacation. We had 3 families and this luxurious house easily accommodated all of 11 of us. I honestly don't believe that the online photos do this property justice, it is truly remarkable. We ate most meals at home because we wanted to spend a lot of time at the beach, and the gourmet kitchen was more than up to the task. Additionally, the 5 bedrooms ensure that many people can still maintain privacy while sharing the same house. The proximity to the beach is also key, especially if you have small kids and have to lug children's items, etc. to and from the beach. Finally, the owners are very kind and helpful and addressed any questions that we had leading up to our trip. We had a GREAT time here and I would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a great family beach experience!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Beautiful home, beautifully furnished, perfect for 2 families... had everything you could possibly want, need and then some. Can't wait to enjoy again next year! We had 4 adults and 6 young teenagers, everyone had their own space when needed and plenty of room to enjoy as a family. Ocean view from 3rd floor was perfect in the mornings, at sunset, and for the teenage hang out!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We just returned from a week at Vie DeMer and we could not have been happier! We went with 2 other families and combined we were 6 adults and 8 children The home plenty big enough for all of us and the house is designed in such a way that noise doesn't travel so when the kids were upstairs we couldn't hear them! The pool was a huge bonus..,used everyday and heated perfectly. The kitchen was AMAZING and had all top of the line cookware and appliances. We prepped a thanksgiving dinner with ease. Best part of this home was the proximity to the beach. Literally a 2 min walk from door to sand. We were very pleased and the owners were wonderful to work w and very responsive. We will definafely be back to VieDemer.., they didn't miss a thing when designing and outfitting this home for a truly wonderful experience!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
