This modern, two-bedroom, one bath house with a large sleeping loft, sleeps six plus people. It is located "up island" on four acres in a very private setting, accessible to many walking and bike trails. You'll have access to two of the islands best beaches which are private - Lucy Vincent Beach and Squibnocket Beach, about a five-minute drive from the home. Golf and Tennis are nearby, and there is a great bike trail network. The scenic fishing village of Menemsha is a ten-minute drive away.
This Non-Smoking house features a gourmet kitchen with a center island made of butcher block and marble. It offers a dishwasher, microwave, and all kitchen appliances. The stove has been converted to electric (four burners and an oven). Additional amenities include a washer, dryer, and a color TV.
The interior has vaulted ceilings with two skylights, exposed beams, and custom woodworking. At the end of the living room there is a set of French doors that open out to a large sundeck, furnished with chaise lounges and a table with umbrella. There is also a second covered front porch with an herb garden, numerous flowering plants, and blueberry bushes around it.
One bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the other has a set of twin brass beds. The loft has a double and two single beds. And there is a double pullout in the living room. Please bring sheets and towels. Ferry tickets are available.
