My husband and I rented this house for a month and really enjoyed our stay. The location at the DeAnza Golf Course is really nice, convenient, quiet, scenic. The house is on the 14th fairway near the green, so, it was fun to watch the golfers each day. The view from the kitchen and dining room windows of Indian Head mountain was beautiful. The house was very clean and well maintained, tile floors throughout, well decorated (Mrs. B is a talented artist) and comfortable. We had our small dog with us and she enjoyed the stay as well. The DeAnza community is perfect for walking or bicycling. Ross was very helpful (and responsive) in answering questions - like when we accidentally locked ourselves out! Borrego Springs is kind of a funky desert town, and we really love it there. There are several golf courses, (in addition the DeAnza course), restaurants (Carlee's, Red Ocotillo, Kendall's, Pam's and several others), desert exploration, an incredible arts community, and the wonderful dark skies. It is a great place for motorcycle riding, bicycle riding, running/walking, or just relaxing on the patio with a good book. It is not as busy or as traffic driven as the Palm Springs area. In fact, Borrego midnight is 9PM! At any rate, we truly enjoyed our stay in Borrego and at this house. I would definitely recommend it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway.
