Why the Owner Chose Beaufort

This home is unique for the central location being in town and on the water, and is just 40 miles to Savannah and 70 to Charleston.

The Unique Benefits at this House

Our Ranch home is offers fabulous views from every window and if you want to be close to the water just go out on the dock which was added in 2006. There is a deck overlooking the water and porch at the front. The home is nicely furnished with comfortable beds, 1 queen and 2 twins.

Owner's Map of Beaufort

We have always loved Beaufort and the lowcountry. Our 1st home was an oceanfront condo on Fripp island, but we have now chosen to be closer to town where the action is. I am a landscape artist and have unlimited beauty to work from here. it's a joy every day to watch the changing tides and the wildlife that it brings. The dock was added in 2006.

This house is sooo adorable. Cold AC, ample space, fully equipped, comfy beds, beautiful back deck, AMAZING dock over the tidal river, great location, quiet neighborhood, bright windows with spectacular views, the works! We spent a lot of time on the dock catching blue crabs. Too much fun! The neighborhood is very quiet, and it's about a 5 minute car ride to town. We had everything we needed as the owners thought of everything. Plus the interior is so comfy, with great decorations and thoughtful touches here and there. Plus it had wi-fi and cable, up-to-date local magazines and travel guides, etc. The landscape and trees are great, and it was just such a great time. Next visit we're renting the owner's other house further south. Love them! Plus, they are pet friendly, but you'd never know that any pets had ever stayed in the house. My dacshaund/chihuahua loved the warm deck and watchnig us crab from the dock!!

Everything you need is here!

This home has everything. If you need a quiet, relaxing time, you have a secluded home with its own dock out over the tidal creek for crabbing, reading, relaxing or bird watching. My son and I even slept on the dock one night! The house is quiet and comfortable with all modern amenities. If you want the bustle of a town, you have the quaint Beaufort 5 minutes cycle ride away or 10 minutes walk, and the historic Savannah and Charleston all within an hour away. If its the beach you need, Hunting Island cannot be beaten. The neighbors are very friendly and have lots of good advice on local restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend it strongly to others.

The home was both charming and comfortable. We received a warm welcome from the neighbors upon our arrival. We felt at home immediately. It was so much fun going out to the dock and catching blue crabs (and even a few shrimp). Such a quite neighborhood and yet so close to everything. We even drove out to St. Helena Island and picked some of the last of the summer tomatoes at Dempsey Farms. It was too bad we couldn't stay longer. Maybe next time.
