It was a wonderful week! The weather was perfect and we all had a great time. Your place is beautiful. We came down for our Fall Break with our children Caleb (18) and Rebecca (13) who are both still at home. We met our other daughter, Jenifer and her husband Bobby with our grandson Carson (11 months). Thi ma be our last family vacation for a while since our son will be going to college in just a few short months. We went to the beach every day and saw sharks right on the shore a couple days. We ate at Pompano Joe's, played golf and Putt Putt, went bowling, went shopping and everything anyone wanted to do. It was the best week ever. Thank you for the use of your home. It was perfect for all our needs.

We'd like to thank you for sharing your home with us. It is beautifully decorated and I loved thhe yellow walls. The big red chair was so comfortable. This was our first vacation in 5 years and we enjoyed every second of it!! Our kids loved the ocean and played in the pool constantly. My 17 month old daughter's favorite thing was the back porch. In and out -- in and out! The condo was confortable and spacious. My son loved the bunk beds in "his" room. He now calls this our "Florida Home." The weather was beautiful -- rain one day only! We ate at the Crab Trap, Gilligan's and Fudpucker's -- all great! You have to go to Howl at the Moon in Fort Walton -- a dueling piano bar. We come every time we're down here -- it's fabulous. Thanks for sharing your condo with us! Can't wait for next year!!

We had a wonderful time here this week and really enjoyed our grandchildren! The beach is just the best and the pool was great too! The red chair is the best, it became "Nane's" all week. Our trip was incredible! The food, shopping and swimmig could not have been better. The kids had a great time at everything we did. We played hard in the morning, rested/napped in the afternoon and ate and played more in the evenings. The men enjoyed playing golf at Golf Garden and we all enjoyed Putt Putt there too! We especially enjoyed going to the beach and having someone give us a chair and show us lots of attention. Fondly.

Maravilla condo was just as described. Condo was very clean. Owner was a joy to rent from. Location was great - close to beach and close parking...not in a huge lot. You never know what you are getting when you rent online. Thanks for a great vacation. We hope to rent this condo again.

We've had a fabulous week! Our favorites have been the Glass Bottom Boat Dolphin Cruises (our 6 year old loved it), the track was great for both our boys (6 years and 20 months) as well as morning and evenings spent in the pool and on the beach. The weather has been beautiful since our arrival. We've spent ur mornings and evenings on the beach playing in the sand and surf. My husband taught me to boogie board and I love it! I could hardly wait to get to the beach each day, always hoping that the surf would be perfect for the boogie board. Our days were spent shopping and sight seeing. The Destin Commons was our favorite. My nephews loved the train and playing in the water. My husband loved the hat shop. And me, I loved the atmosphere and the snow cones. I felt like a kid again. We also loved the art galleries. Wyland is a favore as well as the Zoo Gallery. We discovered an artist named Patrick L. Reynolds. His work can be found at the Paul Brent Gallery in the City Market. His work is beautiful and inspiring. If you're reading this I strongly encourage you to go experience his art. Our days ended with a little time in the hot tub and a dip in the pool. It has been a perfect vacation! July 1-8, 2006

This was a blast. We went shopping at the mall. My favorite thing I got was a henna tattoo. I got 7 new friends I going to name them Dlyan, Cody, Alea, Alxa, Chad, Adam, Seanna. I didn't like the seaweed at all, yucky. My thing was the bunk beds I was the one to sleep on the top and sometimes on the bottom. I love the balcone. Alex, 7 years old P.S. this was a blast.

What we did on vacation: Ate out at: Crabtrap, OK; Fudpuckers, the kids loved the alligators; and The Lighthouse, excellent sea food, service and its 1/2 off entrees from 4-8pm. Went to Grayton Beach (30A) for a day on the beach -- very secluded, extra nice beaches. Shopped at Seaside (a must-see nad experience for everyone). Went to beach here -- excellent umbrella service. Hunted for crabs, visited Alvins Island at least 1000 times. Rode go-carts and water bumper cars. Visited Gulfarium. Slept (much needed). Loved it All. (Spring Break, 2006)

A wonderful week in Destin -- a beach day everyday as there was no rain. A plus was having the extra Saturday as no one rented the place the week prior to our visit. The location is great for families with teens -- they are close to everything! The beach service is excellent. The cable modem for our lap top was terrific -- allowed us to maintain contact with family, friends and work back home. We had great luck with our fishing on the New Florida Girl. We enjoyed the neighborhood eating establishments when we dined out. Most of the time we ate in from our fresh fish catch or from Sexton's Seafood Market. Last night in the condo. We really had great fun here in Destin. The weather was perfect -- no rain for the whole 6 days. We all (5 girls and mom) loved staying here at Maravilla. We found it to be a great location to get to all activities and you can't beat these Destin beaches!! The beds were extra nice, the size of the condo excellent, and the pools and jacuzzi were great. We had a great week! Your condo is the perfect place to stay at in Destin. We had plenty of room to spread out. I love the convenience of the washer and dryer and dishwasher. The kids loved the bunkbeds. The ocean and both pools were so warm, although the weather is hot in August. We had a blast eating out for dinner each night. June, 2004 We had a great week. Perfect weather. You folks have a really nice place and we enjoyed our stay. I'm from Brewton, AL and used to come to Destin quite often in the 70s. Things have certainly changed! Played two rounds of golf at Indian Bayou and Bluewater Bay. Beautiful courses! One thing hasn't changed. The most beautiful sand and water is right here in Destin. August 2004 Thanks so much for letting us vacation in your beautiful home. It's decorated very cheerfully and made us feel right at home. We had threats of Tropical Storm Bonnie, but we prevailed! We enjoyed the beach, pools, sand and patio. We ate heartily down here, that's for sure. We enjoyed Pompano Joe's three times and the Back Porch twice. Our family has been vacationing in Destin for the past 12 years and we have rented various condos along the gulf. However, I must honestly say, Maravilla 1205 is definitely the best value for the money!!! The unit has a wonderful view of the ocean from the master bedroom and dining room balconies. Maravilla is conveniently located to EVERYTHING -- Destin’s entertainment, nightlife, shopping, The Track -- yet a comfortable enough distance that you don’t experience vacationer congestion. The condo unit is impeccably clean and cheerfully decorated. Our family, 3 adults and 2 children, loved the spaciousness of the unit. We each found a spot to call our own. We felt like we were in a home away from home. The unit is well stocked with kitchen essentials and linens. Our boys especially enjoyed the lovely gulf side pool. While they swam, mom, dad and grandma took in the breathtaking view of the ocean and the relaxing sound of the waves floating into shore. The crystal clear ocean is right there and the picture perfect sugar sand beaches are just a short walk away. Maravilla is a kid-friendly, family-oriented, calm, quiet property. Anyone is sure to enjoy his or her stay here. I highly recommend this unit. From reservation to checkout, our experience was quite enjoyable.

My family likes this place very very much! It is very clean and that is very important! I LOVE the red seat and the colors of the furniture. Very bright. That is a good thing! I think we are gonna have a lot of fun here. The only things I wish this place had are a dvd player and a grill (Owner comments: as of the end of May 2004, the unit has a DVD player and the pool areas have grills). But I think we will live without them. Ha Ha!

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I'm 16. We stayed here from June 21-28. Today is our leaving day and I'm very sad. I had so much fun here I don't wanna leave! I met lots of great people and got to spend lots of quality time with my family! Your condo was wonderful. Although it rained some, most of the time we were here the weather was amazing! We went to the track and rode go-carts, I went deep sea fishing where the four of us who went caught 35 fish all together. The ocean was beautiful other than all the seaweed. All of us kids, 17-17-16-9-8, went crab hunting one night. We had a big one, but Elizabeth dropped the bucket and it ran away too fast. We had water balloon fights with the people downstairs. Well, I guess that's about all there is to write. I enjoyed the stay very much.
