What a wonderful place! Please let me go back soon! The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and very functional. The view is superb and calming. For our family of 5 the highlights were the accessibility of walks right from the house, both paths into the woods and a very walkable network of roads in the neighbourhood. Lucky for us we had a snowstorm in April, after a heatwave, so saw the place in 2 seasons. It is on a school bus route so the roads get plowed early, but I can imagine that in the middle of winter a 4x4 and snow tyres is essential. Good grocery and liquour stores only 15 min drive away. Inside the house the best things were the roomy shower downstairs and the large open plan kitchen/dining/living room.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed in this spectacular home for 3 months and absolutely loved every minute of it! The setting is outstanding with an incredible mountain view off the deck and lots of hiking trails right out the back door. The wildlife is great to view too with deer that come off the mountain to feed right behind the house. Often times, I'm doing dishes just watching them. Speaking of dishes...If you like to cook or bake then you will be in heaven with this well appointed kitchen. Everything you need is there and it's all state of the art. The owner has used her designer background and made every room tastefully done. The house is remarkably spacious, yet cozy. The beds are very comfortable. Even the sheets are top notch! You can't go wrong with renting this home. It's worth every penny !! We can't wait to come back!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We traveled to Denver this past December with family to see our son and nephew. Nancy's home was beyond our expectation and truly was a gift itself. We had a wonderful kitchen to prepare meals, plenty of room for all to hang out and catch up. The furnishings were top notch...not a detail was left untouched. Nancy was more than accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She communicated with me on a regular basis to be certain our stay was enjoyable. The property is close to Denver, yet out from the hustle and bustle of city life...a perfect balance. We honestly did not want to leave! The home was very clean upon arrival and the pictures you see are a true reflection of the home's beauty. Conifer was a good place to go to the store, get gas, etc. Highway access was also very convenient. Nancy's personal touch was amazing. She really wants her guests to have an experience, not just a place to stay. Our time together in her home was exactly that...a wonderful experience with family. I would strongly recommend this home to others. We will definitely return. Thank you, Nancy, for a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

What good fortune to found this great property for our extended visit for daughter's nearby Wedding site. Photos can not capture both the warmth of house and the spectacular views from many decks. House is equipped for any extended stay with any imaginable amentities. We entertained many family and friends who traveled from East Coast for prewedding gathering on 1st night and all raved about property. Red Rocks nearby for various activities( should make everyone bucket list to see a show at Red Rocks), along with Towns of Morrision and Evergreen and any other daytripping in Colorado. Owner was very very helpful and property reflects her character. Would definitely recommend and return , if journey leads us again to this beautiful part of the country.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A handful of my friends from all across the country gathered recently at this rental home for a writing retreat. The cabin was not far from Denver, and actually quite close to Red Rocks Amphitheater. It was the perfect blend of being away from it all, but close enough to get into town for groceries or in case of emergency. The kitchen, dining room, and bedrooms were modern and comfortable, and all the electronics were high-tech (the microwave KNEW how long to cook our food!). There was a large dining room table that worked perfectly for us to spread out our notebooks and laptops to get some individual, and collaborative, work done while we were there. The back porch overlooked a mountain valley with horses and other wildlife. There is a hiking trail right in the backyard that goes up to a beautiful look-out area. It was cozy and relaxing, a definite vacation. It was really wonderful, and the owner was very communicative. Whenever we had questions, someone was always around to give the answer. Very, very helpful! I would recommend this rental to groups like mine, trying to find a space away from it all to get some work done, or families vacationing and looking to go hiking or skiing.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently stayed at Nancy's home while visiting Morrison for a family reunion. From the moment I contacted Nancy she was so accommodating and willing to answer the questions I had. Her home is very spacious so it easily met the needs of our family and my sister's family. The home is gorgeous and all of the amenities are top notch, down to the bedding bath towels. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck and the kids loved playing fort under the basement stairs and meeting her horse. We hiked up the hill in the backyard and the kids enjoyed the koi pond as well. The home is conveniently located a short drive from the highway and local stores are quick drive as well. One of our highlights was seeing several elk crossing the road as we returned home one evening! We have stayed at many homes through VRBO and it was refreshing to rent through Nancy because it was so clear she loves her home and wants you to have an "experience" while staying, and that she isn't looking to "just rent it". We loved our stay and our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Nancy was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend this home to anyone and hope to return again someday!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The house was incredible. It was much better than we expected, and looking at the pics and reading the reviews, we expected alot! The kitchen was well stocked with every imaginable gadget, hand made pottery and hand blown glasses. It was certainly well used with our group. Perfect place to entertain, too. The house is very spacious and well laid out. The setting was idyllic. A deck out front overlooking a valley with horses and cows and one out back looking at hummingbirds, a lone fox, and a deer. Plus the mountains! The trails out back were enjoyable, and relatively easy even for those of us who aren't in the greatest of shape. We had incredible skies each evening. Convenient to do sightseeing, to other hiking areas, and to beautiful drives and vistas. We were fortunate to meet the owner, who is a warm, friendly, helpful, and very flexible person. We wish we could have stayed much longer than 5 nights - perhaps forever making it our home base?Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house has a great location on the Southwest side of Denver. Easy access to Denver, Red Rocks, Mt. Evans and many other scenic locations. Also Quick access to 285 so getting around was convenient. The house itself was outstanding. Clean, comfortable, spacious, great decor and very updated throughout. The kitchen equipment was wonderful to use and we ended up eating most of our meals there because it was so much fun to cook for people. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the positive interation I've had with the property owner. I've rented a number of properties in my travels, and I've never had such a positive experience. Good communication throughout, and always making sure things were up to the highest standards and that we were having a good vacation. The highest praise I can give it is to say I plan on returning, hopefully sooner rather than later.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Words can't describe the beauty of this property! I hope we are able to return next year. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay at this location. It is a magnificant area of Colorado, centrally located to many great adventures. The property and property owner are both of the highest caliber. Our activities included Geo Whitewater Rafting, Elitches Amusement Park, Georgetown Train Ride and Mine Tour, 16th Street Mall shopping in Denver, Alpine Slide in Golden, hiking at Red Rocks, and the Denver Mint. It was a wonderful family vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Amazing retreat. Exquisite home with lots of light, space, and decks. Once arrived, didn't want to leave so cooked all meals with full kitchen, induction stove, high tech bbq. Beds clean, very comfortable, new. Plenty wildlife - deer, foxes, birds, hiking trail at end of driveway led up to beautiful ridge, other trails in area. Visited Mt. Falcon, Red Rocks, Boulder, only wished I'd brought my bicycle. Owner pleasant and attentive. Coming from both coasts, we all felt refreshed. Perfect for relaxing getaway!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Everything about this property is comfortable, convenient and relaxing. If you're particular to small details, you'll enjoy this place. The bedding, towels, dishware and all the minute details make you feel as if you're at home. It's very clean and well-maintained. There's a BBQ, large screen TV, a huge deck overlooking the "valley" and plenty of space. There is really nice hiking immediately out the back door that rises about 600 feet. We did a hike that took us 2 hours roundtrip. The main road is a 1.5 mile loop and allows for an easy walk/jog out the front door, which also provides amazing views the entire time. The house is very close to downtown Morrison, which has some good restaurants (Blue Cow, Tony Rigatoni's, The Fort...); Red Rocks is 10 minutes away; Tiny Town is 4 minutes; Pikes Peak is 1.5 hours. The elk roam freely in the immediate area. If you want a comfortable, stylish house, stay here. You won't be disappointed. We would definitely rent from Nancy again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family really enjoyed this home. It was in a great location and easy to find. Along the way from denver airport is an outlet mall with a super target to go food shopping. Nancy was very helpful in letting us know where to shop. The house had a huge kitchen with every utensil in the world, and seriously, not joking. You can save money by cooking at the house. The house was warm during the winter, there is a big screen tv, dvds for the kids and lots of space in the house. The views also from the porch was beautiful... This house is highly recommended. Also recommend taking a cruise to tiny town. Its cute and right down the road from the house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband & I stayed in this lovely home for the month of November and wish we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect, close enough to town and shopping but far away from the hustle and bustle. We watched deer, elk and fox in the yard each day and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful view overlooking the valley and foothills. It looks like a Norman Rockwell painting with red barns and farms with horses grazing in the meadow. We look forward to returning in the Fall.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
