This private Lake Home/Cabin sits on 3-wooded acres on a clean, mid-sized lake (East Twin Lake) that has a sandy bottom and over 20-feet of clarity.
Spacious cabin features: Upstairs: 3 bedrooms- Master bedroom has queen size bed with French doors and full lake view, 1 bedroom with full size bed, and 1 bedroom with twin over full bunk bed, 1 small bathroom, 1 small family room w 2 futons, bonus entry area with blow up mattress.
Walk out level to lake: 1 full handicap assessible bathroom, , breakfast porch/living room with a panoramic lake view, 1 main living room with wood fireplace, kitchen, 3 dining room tables-(seating for 20), laundry room, plus an entertainment room with pool table and darts.
Cabin sleeps 6 adults in bedrooms and an additional 3 people comfortably on futons upstairs and a bonus of 2 hide-a-beds downstairs if needed and 2 people on blow-up mattress upstairs entry area. 2 port-a-cribs are available for babies.
Indoor and entertainment amenities include; billiards, darts, cable TV and wireless internet access (WI-FI).
Cabin has your typical forced air home heater with air-conditioner, plus in-floor heat in the entertainment/pool room.
Enjoy bonfires, biking, hiking, fishing, boating, wakeboarding, water skiing, camping, 4 wheeling, 4x4 mudding, hunting, snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, even downhill skiing.
2 miles from gas, groceries, restaurants, shopping, and golf (The Preserve), plus access to the Paul Bunyan trail less than 1 mile.
There is a public access on the lake - so bring your boat! We have room for 1 boat to be tied up at the dock! A canoe is available for your enjoyment.
Keywords: An outdoor oasis for boating, swimming water skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, snorkeling in crystal clear waters (sandy bottom). Watch the Loon and Eagle on the lake! Excellent fishing for Bass, Walleye, Sunfish, Crappie, Northern. Other activities: bonfires, horseshoes or just laying in the hammock listening to all the sounds of up north or a romantic sunset sitting on the dock.
Close to the Paul Bunyan trail for biking, snowmobiling, walking, jogging, rollerblading.
Gull Lake area: horseback riding, 4x4 trails, golf and downhill skiing.

This place is beautiful and we have been there several times! Perfect for our family!!! It is very well maintained and clean! We enjoyed the lake everyday, swimming, fishing, and tubing! The lake is perfect size to pull the tube with no traffic from other boats, plus the dock is awesome!!! The set-up was so nice, we could put our little one for a nap and hang out outside by the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful place around us!! We couldn't have asked for anything better. This home is comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. My suggestion is bring your clothes, fishing pole, and go to the grocery store when you arrive. There is all the wood you need in the awesome fire pit. The only noise you hear is the birds its so peaceful. We had lots of fun playing pool, swimming, canoeing and yard games. There is something for everyone and you don't need to leave unless you want to. We ate at Zorbaz and that was sure fun, great food, atmosphere, and beer. Its family oriented. Thank you for sharing your awesome home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Cabin fit pleanty of people, which was nice being we had a big group!! Fishing off the dock was fun and we caught a big fish off of it which was fun for the kids to see! Playing pool was a good time for the adults on rainy days.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We want to thank John and Laurie for sharing their wonderful lake side home with us. Pulled into the long narrow driveway with a 22 foot pontoon and wondered where this somewhat rustic road was taking us, only to arrive at a beautiful clearing with plenty of room for parking and turning around (whew!). The home, yard, and entire property was immaculant. The waterfront is lined with smaller rocks, but the sundeck and ladder into the clear sandy bottomed water was perfect for adults and the 3 and 5 year old grandsons. Great swimming! Lots of sunfish off the dock, but the walleyes managed to stay clear of our fishing lines all week. The supply of games, cards, puzzles, books, etc... was great. Only amenities we didn't find were a vegetable peeler and hand mixer. Other than that the place had everything and more than we needed. Hope to make this our permanent summer vacation spot. Golfing and area activities added to our great stay.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Hi John & Laurie, We had a wonderful vacation at your beautiful lake house. It was everything as advertised and everyone enjoyed their stay. Plenty of room with the 3 bedrooms plus the bonus room and porch. We had some rain but the kids still fished and swam. We took in the mini-golf and maze at Pequot Lakes. That was fun. We also enjoyed the shopping at Pequot Lakes and Nisswa. Thank you for everything. We will recommend your place to anyone who asks us for vacation information.Did you find this review helpful? We really enjoyed our week at the cabin! We were pleasantly surprised at how well maintained the property grounds were when we arrived. There is a large firepit area with seating outside that we put to much use in the daytime; eating and congregating, as well as in the evening for bonfires. The inside is well taken care of and had everything we needed for our stay. We LOVED how the property is at lake level and does not require going down several flights of stairs to reach the dock. We also enjoyed the sunsets! Very memorable vacation and would recommend to everyone!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Property was easy to find and close to both Nisswa and Pequot Lakes with shop and groceries. The inside layout was such that everyone could be doing things without all in the same area. IE., kids doing legos and puzzles, cards,.or watching TV, kitchen area or in the pool area. Bedrooms upstairs with one small bathroom. Large bathroom w/shower on main level. Yard was very level to the lake for easy access. Dock was wide and the kids loved fishing from it, which became a morning ritual for them. Nice lake - not too big nor small. Was not busy during the week. Took boat rides around the lake each day - fun to see the cabins/houses on the lake. Fishing was okay.. We hit a pretty good week of weather with one day extremely hot and humid on which we turned on the air conditioning. In the front TV area - lake view, no screens on the windows which would have allowed the breeze from the lake. All in all we had a nice week with our family. Enjoyed turtle races in Nisswa, ice cream runs to the Chocolate Ox almost daily with the kids and all the shops are fun to visit. Very enjoyable time.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
