It is one of the oldest sections of the historic Trastevere district,just a few yards from Ponte Sisto.Crossing the Pontre Sisto one of the first sights entering the district is Palazzo Farnese with is magnificent Piazza.A few yards away us Campo de Fiori and beyond is the main street Corso Vittorio Emanuele, which leads to Piazza Navona.Many other historical sights such as Vatican,the Trevi Fountain,The Spanish Steps.the Roman Forum and the Coliseum are all within easy walking distance.

Our family of three (dad, mom, 12-yr-old kiddo) stayed here in May 2012. The street is charming, and the neighborhood of Trastevere is fantastic -- endless choice of restaurants, lively Piazza (Santa Maria) perfect for people-watching, convenient to bus stops and within a 1.5-mile radius walk to most sites. There is a king bed in one of the bedrooms, and two full-size beds (rather, futons) in the other bedroom (this is techically a living/dining area, but has a door that closes it off, so can def. be used as a 2nd bedroom). We found the apartment quite comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The management was responsive, the price was good, and the location was wonderful. Thanks!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
