I rented this home for myself, my son and daughter in law and two toddlers to be near the family I have who were going to be in Seneca.for July 4th. We found the house to be very comfortable,clean, attractive and the location very desirable and quiet. The deep water at the boat dock was great for swimming, but we were most excited when my 3 year old granddaughter caught a 14 inch catfish (with a pink Barbie fishing rod) off the dock one afternoon. Eight of us sat around the dining table one afternoon playing dominoes. We did not do a lot of cooking (I brought casseroles for the main dish and we added salad, etc.)but the kitchen seemed to have everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. My son rented a pontoon boat from the marina for two days . The big problem we had was with the downstairs air not working over The Hottest Weekend in the history of all time, and although the owner tried to contact the air conditioning company they did not return her calls until Monday. It was hot, but we sat on the deck most of the time and the upstairs unit was working so our bedrooms were cool.(My older son was at our beach house and had to have the air repaired there.)
