Escape from the dreary frigid & depressing winter doldrums to where life is filled with sunshine, blue skies & mild temperatures. NW Cape Coral, florida is a beautiful year round vacation destination! Watch manatees & dolphin play from your poolside lounge chair. It's a nature enthusiasts' dream! Kayak or canoe 100's of miles of water trails starting right at your own private dock. Or, rent a boat & explore the Gulf of Mexico (only minutes away!) Hike, bike, shell & shop - something new to do every day with easy access to Punta Gorda/Charlotte Harbor to the north, Pine Island to the west or Sanibel/Captiva, Fort Myers & Naples to the south. Year round fun! There are several golf courses within 4 miles of our home! We stock our home with all your start up supplies, clean & make up the beds for your arrival. We pay attention to all the personal details providing, all linens, hair dryers in every bathroom, beach chairs, fishing equipment, fully-equipped kitchen with brand new appliance, pots , pans, dishes, stocked pantry w/spices & condiments - everything you need including spare tooth brushes (just in case you forgot yours)! Whole house R/O water filtration system. The world renown beaches of Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers, Charlotte harbor and Punta gorda are each less than 30 minutes drive away - heck Disney World, Busch Gardens, or the Everglades can be done for a day trip. There is even a ferry leaving for the Keys out of Fort Myers! Come as guests - leave as family. Everyone is welcome!

Having stayed in upwards of twenty rentals in the US this has to be the best equiped.Everything from a tool kit to an inflateable ring for the beach.This made a real difference for us, Publix two miles away and the house was very comfortable with a lovely patio/pool area.Would recommend the house and owners who were great to deal with.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: We have a very close knit family and spend alot of time together; from our Family Friday dinners to our summer picnics. We wanted a place the whole family could run away to escape the ever dreary PA winters. We needed more sunshine, warm temperature and blue skies in our life! Always wanted a house with a pool!
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Northwest:
Our family has been working with the US Fish & Wildlife and Hawk Mountain Bird Sanctuary for many years. We have traveled to Cape Coral migrating with the American kestrals banding & documenting their winter habitat. Nature lovers at heart, we felt it was time the whole family could have a place to visit, relax and call home.
