This exceptional ski-in/ski-out chalet at Big White is a haven for large groups such as families traveling together, or for an executive retreat. We are honored that many of our guests have come back year after year. Because there are 3,000 square feet of heated living area spread out over 4 levels, even large groups feel comfortable and relaxed in this home’s spaciousness. Everyone can find their own places to socialize or for solitude. The bedrooms sleep 8 persons, and a queen Murphy bed and two queen sofa beds can accommodate an additional 6 persons, providing a cost-effective alternative to hotel rooms while delivering a high level of comfort and quality. Located in Upper Snowpines, this property commands beautiful valley views from panoramic windows in a quiet and private location. It also has the advantage of direct ski-in/ski out access on a groomed ski trail.

ENTRY LEVEL FLOOR: Large living room with queen sofa bed, wooden floor,wrap around fireplace and vaulted two-story ceilings. Dining area that comfortably seats 8, with flat screen TV and stereo. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, filtered water, etc. Kitchen includes spacious island feature with 5 barstools for additional dining seating. Large balcony adjacent to dining area with gas BBQ and view of ski trail and valley. ½ bathroom. Enclosed garage. Enclosed entry foyer with heated slate floor.
FLOOR ABOVE ENTRY LEVEL: Large Master bedroom with king size bed, window seat, flat screen TV with cable, bathroom ensuite with shower. Guest bedroom with queen sized bed and adjacent bathroom. Spacious loft living room area with queen sofa bed and desk.
FLOOR BELOW ENTRY LEVEL: 1st Bedroom - Queen bed with balcony and gas fireplace. 2nd Bedroom - Queen bed. Full size bathroom with tub, laundry room with full size front loading washer and dryer and refrigerator. Media room with 120" projection screen, surround sound, and stadium seating for 9. The media room converts to an extra bedroom when the queen Murphy bed is pulled down.
BOTTOM FLOOR: Large balcony adjacent to ski trail with 6-person private hot tub. Heated slate floor at entry with coat hooks and bench. Sauna (will hold 6 persons). Pool table in Entertainment area with custom made wet bar, mini-fridge, microwave and 5 barstools. Large full bathroom. Gas fireplace.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Snowbanks 6 was a perfect fit for our needs. Our party of eight adults and 2 young children had lots of room to spread out and rooms large enough to come together for meals and games. It was beautiful and comfortable space overlooking a gorgeous view. The ski-in and out was perfect. The outside hot tub was great and well used. We enjoyed the Super Bowl on the giant screen in the media room. I personally had never been to Big White before. but I do plan to go back again. It was such a great experience that I will be telling all my friends about it. Although we were there for my daughter's wedding, we managed to go tubing, skiing, enjoyed the hot tub a couple of times at the chalet. The food at local restaurants was excellent as well. Reviewer Comments: My group and i stayed at Snowbanks #6 for the first time for our annual bunny gathering for the Easter long weekend, and all of us had nothing but great tings to say. We were wowed as soon as we walked into the chalet. Beautiful kitchen, excellent hot tub, sauna, pool table, and cinema room and lots of comfy cozy places to relax. The little touches like, tile heating and in room temperature controls made this place lux. We especially liked how convenient the chalet was located close to the chair lift with the ski in and ski out. The owners even paid us a visit with a bottle of wine! All around we loved the chalet and our weekend at Big White. We hope to rent this property again next year for the annual meeting of the bunnies!Did you find this review helpful? A bit lacking in decor for the price - a lot of items seemed like castoffs from an eighties redo - kitchen items, fake flowers and artless art. Parking seems a little meagre for a place that sleeps 14. This place is gorgeous, the only negative was not enough pans for cooking and the tv in the master didn't work, but a very small detail compared to all the positives this place had - GREAT entertainment, gorgeous views, TRUE ski-in & out & overall one of the best places we've stayed for our annual ski trips. Thank you so much1 We will be back ;) Manager responded on 10/12/2010: We have looked at the pan shortage and the TV in the master bedroom has been repaired. We love this chalet because of the quality that went into the furnishings and finishes. The solid wood kitchen cabinetry and beds and end tables are custom built for this home. You will be "blown away" by the surround sound in the media room that has stadium seating for 9 in plush leather sofas. There are many details and fine touches too numerous to mention. The ski-in/out chalet is right on a ski trail that leads to three ski lifts. Stay entertained with your own pool table, hot tub, sauna, media room and gourmet kitchen.
