We had a fabulous time in Steamboat. Condo owner was very helpful and easy to work with. Perfect location to catch the shuttle...just a 3 minute ride to the slopes. Convenient grocery story next door and wonderful Mexican food, La Montana, that the owner recommended. I wanted to eat there every night.. Kids loved the lights on the trees surrounding our condo. Great view! Would stay here again in a minute. Hope to come back sometime. Will recommend!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This is a great place to stay for Steamboat skiing. The afternoon sun through the huge windows after skiing all day feel great. Also, the trees outside are decorated with Christmas lights making for wonderful nighttime ambiance (especially for a toddler). Nice fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and well equipped kitchen made for a great place for five of us to stay in. One room has a twin fold out couch that our toddler slept on and loved. The description and pictures given are totally accurate. There are shuttles waiting right outside in the mornings to take you to the gondola and you can ski most of the way back to the place (you end up right across from the Mexican restaurant and happy hour and there is a path straight from the restaurant to the place). It is very easy to do a lot of skiing and we really enjoyed coming home to this condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time in Steamboat. This was our fourth time at the Lodge and we will continue to come back. The unit had everything you needed to just walk in and set up house. It was clean and well appointed. Location, location, location is the word in Real estate and this place has just that. A quick 5 minute walk to the gondola or a free bus from the lobby gets you to the slopes. We had beautiful views out the front windows. The only thing I did not like was the bed. It was a little to hard to my liking, but that is a personal choice and others may find that fine. I found the owner to quite helpful with items when I called and was quite prompt in returning my emails if I had a question. We will definitely come back. Thanks for the great time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

My husband and I loved this place so much that it was hard to leave it! Beautiful views, great ammenities and we loved having the balcony right off of the master bedroom. We would love to go back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The VRBO photos nicely depicted the interior/exterior of the unit. Loved the combination lock door-no keys to lose coming and going. The condo has everything one needs to feel at home- well equipped kitchen, lots of blankets and pillows and even humidifiers for the dry, Colorado climate. Nice to have a washer/dryer right in the condo. The unit is so conveniently located-short walk to the gondola and to a Mexican restaurant, convenience/liquor store. We were even able to buy a NY Times at 7:00 am at the neighborhood store. End of August is a great time to enjoy all that Steamboat offers- very quiet. We had the swimming pool all to ourselves and area restaurants weren't crowded. Only one suggestion that would make the condo absolutely perfect- need a small end table with a lamp in the second bedroom between the bed and the wall. My husband likes to read in bed before going to sleep. But the second bedroom does have a sleeper sofa for a third occupant in that room. I certainly would recommend this condo in the Lodge to anyone who is looking for a 2BR, 2Bath comfortable and convenient home-away-from-home anytime during the year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We spent 7 nights in this very clean, very comfortable condo. Roger is a great owner and very easy to work with. The condo is ideally located near the mountain and just a short drive into town. The bathroom towels are the best! The kitchen has everything you need to cook all of your meals. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This unit is the perfect spot and had everything I needed to enjoy a weekend in Steamboat! The location is great, so close to Steamboat mountain and the hiking an biking available there, a great Mexican resturant in walking distance and a short bus ride into town. The kitchen is well appointed for eating in and I enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee and evening wine. The beds are super comfortable, enjoyed a nice mountain breeze and quiet at night. The owners were very helpful with recommendations for where to go and things to do and made it really easy to rent. I would stay here again for sure!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I really enjoyed staying at this condo. The living area is very open and has great views. The location is great - right near the slopes. Roger was easy to work with and accurate in the description of property, location and amenities. Cooked in a couple of meals and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Proximity to gondola square allowed for easy walk home at end of ski day. Although a little walk, still enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs(2) with changing room and towels provided. Despite the warm spring, lucked out with two days of fresh snow (3" each night) and cooler temps but still overall fun time skiing. Would stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed our at this property very much. The unit was everything as decribed. The bedrooms were a little small but very comfortable beds. Nice view from living room. The private shuttle was very nice and comes every 10 minutes. We will definitely stay here again. I just returned from a visit to Steamboat and stayed at this condo. The beds are super comfortable, with high quality bedding. The condo is a 3-minute walk to the Gondola and base area restaurants, making it extremely convenient. We love to cook, so we chose to aprés at the mountain and cook dinners and breakfasts in the condo. The kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook multi-course meals for four people. The location is very nice, also, with afternoon sun and a view of the valley. Because of it's positioning in the building, it's quiet and is probably the nicest condo at the Lodge. It's on the top floor, with beautiful vaulted ceilings and quality furnishings. I'm admittedly a bit persnickety and this place is CLEAN. I found the owners very easy to communicate with and would rent this place again in a heartbeat. It's a great value!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Greatest week our families have had since we can remember; and this luxury condo was one reason! Our family of three stayed there in November 2011. Steamboat is the nicest, most comfortable, easy, authentic ski town we know of, we will be back as often as possible. This condo is very close to the base area and all the amenities without walking up or down any big hills. The condo is almost as close to the Gondola as where the buses drop off all the other condo building folks. Getting to Steamboat was easy, to the condo was easy. The owner and lock box were great and easy to work with; very nice and professional. The market next door is great, getting to downtown is easy - you don't need a car. This place is nicer than the photos would have you believe. WIFI works, great views, loved staying in as much as going out. Come to Steamboat and stay here and you will be HAPPY!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
