This 100+ year old row house combines all the charm of its age with the contemporary feel of a high end property. This new-to-VRBO property is truly a unique and cool place. The lower level features a very open feel. The comfy living room has a HD 42" flatscreen and huge lovely windows overlooking the porch. The dining room and kitchen are open to one another. The kitchen includes an island that is great for gathering while cooking or just visiting. Counters are granite with a gorgeous tile backsplash. All S.S. appliances. The main floor also has a 1/2 bath. The upper level features a foyer sitting area great for reading a book or visiting. There are 2 bedrooms each with it's own dresser, closet space, ceiling fan and bathroom. Both baths are uniquely individual. One has an antique clawfoot tub and the other has french doors, beautiful tile, and a fantastic shower. The master suite is a cool space as it includes an all glass sun porch with a lovely east looking view. It also has a gas fireplace, a heated tile floor and ceiling fan. You will want to retreat there regularly to enjoy a glass of wine or just enjoy the view and it won't matter what the weather is doing - you will be comfortable.
The condo is within walking distance to the Old Market area which has great shops and excellent restaurants. It is an ideal location for the College World Series, NCAA Volleyball/Basketball/Wrestling, Olympic Swim Trials, Iowa casinos and major concerts at the Qwest Center.

I stayed here after having a surgery at Creighton Hospital. This is an awesone home stocked with everything you would ever need. The beds are very comfortable, as is the whole house. Everything was soooo clean and in perfect condititon. The owners are lovely people and I would definitely stay again if I ever come back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a very nice stay at this Row House over the 4th of July holiday. It was beautifully decorated, quite comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we could need! The owners, Marc and Char, truly went above and beyond by adding NBC Sports to their cable lineup, so the fanatic men in our family could keep up with the Tour de France while we were there! We enjoyed the zoo, children's museum, and many good eats at Stokes, Orsi's Pizza, Blue Sushi, and Upstream Brewing Co. Thanks for a wonderful stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just stayed at this property for the Memorial Day weekend and it exceeded our needs and expectations. The property is finished in extremely high quality. It is spacious and very, very nice looking and comfortable. We used to live in the area, so we had family and friends over - one night ten total people and the other 13, and it was very comfortable and fun to host people here. The property is in a great location - close to the Old Market, walkable to Orsi's for fabulous takeout pizza and walkable to Joe Banana's for a great breakfast (depsite the touristy sounding name, this is a reasonably priced locals establishment). The property is very well stocked - Char had water in the fridge, ample paper products, bedding, and towels. We will definitely be back on a future trip. Thanks Char for helping us have a great holiday with family and firends!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband and I attended our daughter graduation at Creighton University and stayed here. Everything was wonderful and the owners were very accomodating. We would recommend this property to friends and relatives. We loved our stay, Char and Marc have thought of everything that you will need. Randome fact, the ron in there is the best iron on earth (Black and Decker classic), I just bought it for myself! The house is stunning and super clean, every detail was well thought. Char and Marc have great taste. The beds are comfortable, an the bathrooms are beautiful. Plenty of hangers to hang lots of clothes. We enjoyed the short walk to Old Market (a 10 minute walk) and the pizza from this little place around the corner, it starts with the letter O. I can't think of it right now.. was incredible. There is parking on the street or enough space for one car behind the house. I would definately recommend staying here to a friend!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We have lived in Omaha since 1987. Marc is a Realtor and Char teaches at University of Nebraska at Omaha. We love to travel and have personally utilized VRBO numerous times so we felt it was a perfect place for us to market our property.
Why the Owner Chose Omaha:
We love the Old Market and the downtown Omaha area in general and were looking for some time for the perfect investment property. There are many brand new condos in this area so we wanted to join the action but wanted something a little more unique than brand new while still offering the luxuries and comforts of new and we believe we have found it in this beautiful row house.
