Crested Butte, Red Lady, and Whetstone mountains during apres ski on the deck. Inside, the chef's kitchen and great room lend themselves to a memorable vacation experience for family and friends.
Enjoy private fishing rights or cross country ski trails just outside the door.
The main level features the great room, perfect for entertaining, and the master suite. Suitable for the picky chef, the kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a six-burner Viking range, granite countertops, and island, and it is well-stocked with cooking supplies. The dining room table seats 10. Relax in the living room on the couch in front of the fireplace or at the game table. Picture windows open up to the deck, with a gas grill, seating area, and spectacular views.
The master suite, also with views of the river and surrounding mountains, has a queen bed, ample shelf space, and a collection of books to help you unwind. The bathroom offers a steam shower, Jacuzzi tub, his and hers sinks, and spacious walk-in closet.
Downstairs are three bedrooms, a bonus living area that can be used as a playroom or game room, and a mud room. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and one has two twins. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom.
The house also has a loft, which is perfect for use as an office.
Washers/dryers are located both upstairs and downstairs.
An attached, two-car garage stays warm in the winter and plays home to snowshoes and bikes, all available for your use.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort offers some of the most varied ski terrain in Colorado, from beginner runs to Rambo, the steepest run in North America. There are endless options for backcountry skiing too. Visitors can also enjoy the Crested Butte Nordic Center, with miles of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing, and an outdoor ice skating rink. World-class snowcat skiing very close by.
We have fallen in love with this former mining town of Victorian storefronts and charming shops and restaurants. You will too!

What a stylish and comfortable house! We really enjoyed our Christmas stay! The house had everything we needed and was so family friendly that we wish we could have stayed longer. The stream shower and radiant heat floors were an added benefit! My children enjoyed the loft space and I enjoyed that each bedroom has its own bathroom AND that the master is so comfortable! We are hoping to rent this house again in August of 2013!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had an incredible week in your home. From the moment we stepped inside we knew we had chosen the perfect place for us. Beautiful on the outside. Beautiful on the inside. The kitchen is incredible, and I don't even know what to say about the steam shower except that I want one in our house. We were able to just relax for a week and that was what we needed. Also, for us we loved the fact that each bedroom had its own bath, and that we were able to bring our dog on vacation was huge. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a nicer place to stay in Crested Butte. It is worth every penny.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We were so lucky to stay here in summer. The house was beautiful, as described and better. We are persnickety travelers, and we would stay here again in a heart beat. The house was well appointed, clean, and filled with cozy spots for the entire family! We were there with two families and having private bathrooms in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Beds were perfect, great linens and very comfortable! We cooked, read books in front of the fire (even in summer!) and made use of the bountiful toys in the garage. The location is great - we didn't ski - but we rode bikes to great mountain trails and hiking. The town is old world mining town charming, great food. Our week there was a good week too short!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and I and our two children had a fantastic stay at this property. We were blessed with lovely weather and enjoyed gorgeous sunsets on the huge deck overlooking Mt. Ruby. We found the house perfect for entertaining. The open floor plan on the main level and excellet kitchen made it easy to cook fabulous meals and relax with friends. The master sweet is quiet and the bedding luxurious. The surplus of bedrooms and play area in the basesment kept the kids occupied. I particularly loved the radiant heat floors after a long day of skiing. There is ample room for coat and ski storage. The interior of house is visually pleasing with beautiful natural stone and wood finishes. The home provided us with an ideal respite. We would return to this property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We have stayed at this beautiful home in both summer and winter, and it's really an ideal all-year getaway. Although it feels like a warm and cozy cabin, the word "cabin" really doesn't do it justice. Wonderful kitchen and living space, terrific deck and outdoor views, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and wonderful neighborhood location. You can get to downtown or the mountain in a few minutes, and then come home to relax in this wonderful home. Great for one or two families or a group of friends. Can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We used to spend a lot of time in Aspen, but after experiencing Crested Butte one winter, we bought a home here and never looked back. We have two daughters and a leonberger dog named Georgia, who is not very smart but is super soft and lovable. In the summers, we love to hike, mountain bike, whitewater kayak, and raft. You'll catch us downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and sledding with our daughters in the winter. Those girls get tougher and tougher every year!
