  I can't stress enough the enjoyment my husband and I experienced staying at the Vacasa rental home in Waldport, Or. The house was very nice,clean and very comfortable. It was close to town and close to many things that might peak your interest. We had a wonderful time there and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I enjoyed it so much that on my next vacation I plan a return visit. It was the perfect getaway!! As far as attractions go.. Ripleys believe it or Not was interesting and the aquarium was breathtaking! The coast itself was absolutely beautiful. You have your choice of Restaurants and cafes and there are so many quaint little shops you will find you never run out of things to see or do!. . Please do yourself a favor and take the time to visit. I know you will enjoy it as much as we did..

  We have 2 Golden's and require a location that allows for long daily walks. The beach is 4 miles and National Forest access is about the same. It doesn't get much better. Waldport is a small coastal town, not busy like Newport or Florence. We didn't go to the coast to see cars and people, if that's what you're looking for, don't stay in Waldport. Internet access is available at the Waldport Library and Rays Market is a great grocery store. The library offers a 30 day membership for $5, check out movies, newspapers, etc. They do have at least 6 computers, no membership required and WiFi is available 24/7, just park outside.

  The place was perfectly set up. Many doors to the outside through out the house. Nice dog crate and dog gate! Perfect! We had access to the river, we saw seals, cranes, blue herons, and elk... The house was clean, beautiful, and it was great to have our dogs enjoying the area with us! Everyone was very helpful and the area is very quaint! We will be back!!! We crabbed, we fished, we relaxed and had fun!

  The house is Beautiful. We were able to bring our Bull Dog which is always a plus. The carpet is off white, Keep that in mind. They have a large Kennel set up in the laundry room with toys. Private back yard to play in. No Construction across the river so it was even more quite. The view was amazing and peaceful. We even ate dinner on the back deck with out getting eaten our selves. Birds were chirping, didn't see many of them. We will try to bring some Bird Feeders next time to encourage them to come so we can take pictures. They even had Shampoo and Conditioner in both the showers. The good stuff too. This place is well stocked. No internet was a jolt, but, not a big one. I like to bake and we didn't have any baking dishes, this was the only bad thing I could find about the house and our visit. Well, except for the neighbor with the yappy little dog. That thing had lots to say at early or late times in the day. Over all we will be back. We may even bring the rest of the family and do more fishing. Having a private dock is so so nice when you like to fish

  A wonderful retreat for relaxation. The house is clean and has everything you need to be "right at home". Our dogs enjoyed the stay as much as we did. Not far from the beach - a great place to walk with your dogs. It would be a nice place to stay year round.

  Cozy home in great location. Home in great shape, property around not as well kept up - good as base to explore the Waldport area. Had issues when we arrived at property (incorrect info about river access given before booking), property manager did not respond to our concerns till after we had left. And then was not responsive afterwards. Note that photos 4 & 5 in listing (of room with queen bed) are of the same room, not 2 rooms with queen bed.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners.
