My friends and I were swept off our feet when we opened the door to this penthouse suite! The unit was immaculate and even more gorgeous than the pictures. There were flat screen TV's in the living room and the bedroom. The kitchen was already set up with everything you would ever need to cook dinner or make your morning coffee. There were three of us staying here, so we did utilize the pullout couch bed, both beds were extremely comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The most breathtaking part of this adorable penthouse suite was the balcony and its view. The most relaxing part besides being able to spend your days sunning yourself on the beach, was being able to fall asleep with the balcony doors open while listening to the waves crashing, seeing the moonlight reflect off the water, and feeling the ocean breeze. Best sleep I've ever had! I highly recommend setting your alarm clock for around 6:30am to watch the sunrise... it's an absolutely stunning sight to be seen. The location of this property is a quiet tucked away part of New Smyrna Beach, it was not crowded at all, not too many tourists, and the other people staying at the condo were all very friendly. Very peaceful getaway from life's hectic schedule. We did not want to leave! We will definitely be back and hopefully make this our yearly getaway destination. Worth every penny and then some! Everyone should be so lucky to have this experience!

New Smyrna Beach is a delightful community. Our location was perfect, the beach directly in front of us and the sounds of the surf day and night. The condo was clean and well maintained, we particularly enjoyed visit to Kennedy Space Center, and Blue Springs State Park, Daytona Beach, and the Canaveral National Seashore. Great resturants, and easy to get around, and find parking. We would go back to New Smyrna Beach.

Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

Dear Michelle: Thank you for the phone call to our home to make sure we got the check-in information, there wasn't anything we needed... it was all (at your condo) waiting for us. We had a WONDERFUL time. Your condo was just the right size for us. Very comfortable and adequate. But the absolute BEST was the sound of the waves on the shore and the beautiful view!!! Our weather was perfect except for the day we spent at the Race, and that didn't really matter. The plan is to retire in 4 years and Florida is back on the list. My husband can have his 4-bay garage if we can live on the coast. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent for a partial week. You may hear from us again a year from now. Met high school friends and enjoyed the Daytona 500. Couldn't ask for anything more ... except a few more days. We feel like this is our home. Perfect condo for us.

We had wonderful weather all week, and enjoyed visiting Smyrna Dunes Park and Canaveral National Seashore. The view from the balcony was fabulous. We enjoyed sitting out there with coffee in the morning, and wine in the evening. We enjoy Ballroom dancing and friends took us to a couple nice dances in Daytona. Thanks for providing us with such a lovely and well-equipped condo. We WILL be back!

Exceptional Views, Ammentities Lacking

I have rented numerous VRBO's, and this was the most spartan and ill equipped unit I have been in. I would ask the owners to live in the unit for a few days and realize how ill equipped it is. Please replace the over sink microwave with a working unit. Adding a cheezy underpowered stand alone unit on top of the frig is just ridiculous. The dishwasher did not work, and there was only one set of four place settings in the unit. Basically after any meal you were cleaning every dish in the place. Please get some non-stick fry pans and cookware. Last time I used steel frying pans I was cooking on a campfire in Boy Scouts. Hard to cook with, even harder to clean. Spend a few bucks and upgrade the unit in just about every aspect, except for the view!

Our 'Get Away'!!!

Our four days went by much too quickly. It has been a perfect get away. We checked in late afternoon on Friday, October 19, 2012, just in time for a glass of wine and snacks from the wonderful welcome basket, and enjoy the view from the 'pent house balcony'. Went to dinner at Norwoods and enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. Back to the condo, early to bed, early to rise! Couldn't miss the sunrise which was spectacular. Got lots of good pictures. Lazy Saturday morning lingering with coffee on balcony, then lunch at the Breakers with local family. Best Burger Ever! Sunday, we went for a late brunch at the Grille at Riverview. Loved this place, would definitely go back. Walks on the beach, sunning around the 2 pools, exploring the area, napping, etc, etc. Could not have been a better trip. Looking forward to reserving this comfortable, convenient, well equiped condo frequently in the future. There are many more things to see and do and many more restaurants to try and the accommodations were the best. Thank you for providing so many extras.

Sunrise Wedding

My daughter and son-in-law met at Coconut Palms four years ago. We reserved this condo for them to stay in for their wedding/honeymoon. The sixth floor end unit was perfect for the occasion. The sunrise wedding on the beach was amazing. The views of the sunrises/sunsets from the balcony were beautiful. Loved the view from both the bedroom and living room. Convenient to cute little shops on Flagler Avenue. Favorite restaurants: The Garlic, Norwood's and Blackbeard's Inn.

Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Ideal laid back vacation!

The top floor with an ocean view from both the living room and the bedroom was perfect! The condo was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. We barely used our car since there are so many incredible resturants, bars and shops within walking distance. Every local person we met was extremely friendly and offered their opinion on their favorite places to go. Kayaking with the manatees was quite the experience. In general, the condo was very nice and the town of New Smyrna is ideal for a laid back vacation.

Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

The poolside activities were a nice way to entertain our daughter! She loved making a tyedye tshirt. We went to PJ's restaurant and New Smyrna Steakhouse. Good food, very close. Had a great time, hate to leave! Tropical Storm Beryl could've waited to make an appearance but we still were able to have a good time on the beach. Thanks again!

We had a great time at the condo. The direct ocean front view was amazing and the best part was that it was in walking distance tO the restaurants, shops and bars on Flagler. We will rent again!

What a wonderful welcome! The basket when we arrived was such a nice surprise. New Smyrna Beach is just beautiful. Easter dinner we enjoyed at "The Garlic". Excellent food, nice staff even on such a busy holiday. The next day we enjoyed the beach and went to the lighthouse - a must see! They had a few cute restaurants. Overall we had a great time and hope to be back real soon.

What a view - sunrise and full moon rise and the ever changing Ocean view! This unit has everything needed for a nice stay. Walk and sit on the beach, or by the pool. Our favorite way to start the day was a bike ride on the beach. If it was too windy, walk to Flagler Ave for breakfast! Nice golf courses in town: NSBCC and Hidden Lakes. Favorite restaurants: Riverview, Tony & Joe's, Norwoods, Off the Hook, NSB Steak House, Down the Hatch, and JB's Fishcamp.

Loved your condo - sitting way up (6th floor) and could see everything (even a guy "skinny dipping") - real "eye opening". Took beautiful pictures from the Terrace, it's gorgeous! The activities are really great with Rita. I did many tye-dye shirts, and even a carry bag. And of course, water aerobics is a must!

Immaculate condo, incredible view, right on the ocean. Close to many great restaurants and exquisite shops. Loved New Smyrna Beach! Easy to get around, friendly folks and lots of choices. Owner of this condo obviously cares about being a good host. Dunkin Donuts coffee in cabinet! Nice pools, gate to beach, plenty of parking. This is top floor, end unit, very quiet space. Condo building is well run--staff easy to deal with.There's a great big Publix grocery store with lots of prepared deli foods about 3 minutes down road. Try So Napa Grill on US 1 and go shopping on Canal Street as well as Flagler Ave. We will be back soon!

One of the highlighs of our stay was enjoying a cup of coffee as we watched the sunrise on the top floor overlooking the beach. Adding to that was having access to two pools plus the beach, the tiki bar, grills and picnic tables, great restaurants, shopping and spa were all within walking distance. We will definitely be back and will reccommed it to our closest friends. Thank you for having us.

The room was wonderful and overlooked the the beach and pools. We never got to experience the beach as we didn't want to veer away from our great location at the pool overlooking the surf. The pool area was perfect for families and those that would like more privacy. The tiki bar was an added bonus. The ambiance was very laid back and not stuffy which we loved. Any place you can bring your own cooler is a HUGE plus for me. The location of the hotel was also perfect...so close to the action on the main strip. We will definitely be back! Thank you for having us;)

We *loved* the condo--the views, the proximity to so much action and well ... just everything mentioned in the ad. I might ad that NSB is about an hour away from Orlando International Airport, Disney & all the other Orlando attractions, and Kennedy Space Center. It's an easy getaway that we hope to do again!

Penthouse views North and South down the beach, two pools: hot and cold, private beach areas for cookouts, kids, and natural area, Tiki Bar that mixes cocktails from your own bottle, few hundred feet from drive on beach, locked gate with key entrance to separate private beach from drive-on beach, close to Flagler Ave, short drive to other great restaurants (New Smyrna rated #1 for restaurants in Small City) ... almost Heaven #4612 Coconut Palms Resort!!!!

Being on the North corner with the view of the sunset and the breeze was a delightful experience. It's fun to overlook the beach and the ocean with all the activity. I'll go back!
