A Great Holiday Week
A Great Holiday Week
My husband and I (and our pet) spent a week in December for the holiday and had a wonderful time. Charming house with lots of room in a fantastic location. Very short walk to the beach and wonderful sunsets on the dock. We had some family over and grilled out and had a great time. We were surprised by how large the rooms were including the bedrooms. We hope to return a couple times a year. You will love it!!!

Loved our time here
Loved our time here
My spouse and I lived in this lovely home for 3 months and enjoyed it very much. It's spacious, well appointed, and the decor is beautiful and charming, inside & out. The back yard on the waterway was the best part. We enjoyed watching seabirds, manatee, dolphin, crabs, fish, sea turtles, and many other amazing creatures, not to mention the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this rental for anyone who wants to experience Florida's natural beauty in a comfy and convenient location.

About the owner: Hi - my name is Suzanne. I am from England but have lived in this part of Florida for over twenty years. I love to be near the water and the beach, and we are lucky here on Sunset Beach to have an almost completely uncrowded beach about 360 days of the year. My partner and I have travelled a great deal within England, Europe and South Africa and we are always looking for new places to discover, but coming back to Sunset Beach guarantees us a peaceful homecoming every time. I am a watercolor artist and derive tremendous inspiration from my surroundings of water, birds, charming beach cottages and also from our travels elsewhere. I hope you will enjoy your stay on Sunset Beach as much as we love living here. Once you've been here, you will want to return again and again
Why the Owner Chose Treasure Island:
In the evening walk up to the beach to watch the sunset.. some of us make this a daily ritual...... and the colors of the sky, particularly in winter, are breathtaking. Then… at night you can hear the waves crashing on the beach (if there is a breeze from the west) and in the morning when all is calm again, you can walk up to the beach with your cup of coffee and look at the sea and the sand, fresh each day, washed clean… just you and the birds. What other reasons could there be… ?
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Not a unique benefit, but a great one nevertheless is the fact that it is so easy to get to and from an airport, 40 minute drive, or take the Limo. And... we are within easy driving distance - say 15 minutes, from shopping malls, many restaurants to suit all tastes, and the bustle of downtown St. Petersburg.... don't miss the Saturday morning market from October until May; and the Friday morning market on Treasure Island. We have every convenience on our doorstep, yet living on Sunset Beach is like being on vacation all the time, and our beach remains un-crowded except for a few days each year ... that's unique!!
