Property #168 ~ The property is on the lake side of Tahoe's HWY 28. The cabin is a 1/4 mile down the road from casinos and walking distance/short drive to some of the best restaurants on the north shore. There's a Safeway/Starbucks a mile down the road. The cabin is set back from the main road which means that you have the convenience of regular snow removal and clear roads without the associated noise from the road.
During the winter, Northstar (7.5 mi.), Mt. Rose (15 mi.) and Diamond Peak (6 mi.) and just minutes away. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood resorts are approximately 17 miles to the west. Great XC skiing, snowshoeing and sledding less than 3 miles from the cabin.
During the summer, this area comes alive! One of the most photographed beaches, Bucks Beach, is walking distance from the cabin. Kings Beach is a 1/4 mile down the road and Sand Harbor Beach a mere 10 miles away. Local activities include great hiking, mountain biking, golf, boating, paddling and a weekly crafts fair.
