Chris and Annie's cottage certainly is the Best Cottage Ever! When I arrived and walked up the driveway, I could hear the waterfall and thought, "This is going to be so relaxing." The cottage is clean and well stocked and Chris and Annie left some supplies and treats in the kitchen and bath. The location is the best ever! The Fernwood neighbourhood is a gem! (check out Fernwood Coffee for an awesome brew to wash down a sweet treat from Daniel Patisserie). I did a lot of driving and it was easy getting to downtown, and to all the major thoroughfares (TransCanada Hwy./Pat Bay Hwy.) I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to do so myself again in the future! Thanks!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Even on a rainy fall weekend, this property was wonderful. Away from downtown, so quiet, but close enough to get there with no hassle. Just perfect for the two of us.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so glad you two enjoyed the cottage! We agree, even if it isn't the magical, sunny, flowery time of year here in Victoria, the cottage is still a fabulous and cozy place to stay warm after your daily travels and watch the rain in the garden from the kitchen! Thanks for your kind words!

My husband and I have been to Victoria on numerous occasions. We both agreed that this was our best trip ever! This lovely cottage is truly a "little slice of heaven." The setting was simply gorgeous and extremely tranquil. We loved sitting on the sun deck, listening to the waterfall and enjoying a glass of wine, especially after a long day of bike riding on one of the many glorious trails that Victoria has to offer. In the mornings we walked to Arriba coffee shop ( I highly recommend their omelette's and the hot chocolate is to die for! ) The cottage was adorable and so comfortable. We didn't get the chance to meet Chris, but Annie was such a delight! Thank you Chris and Annie for providing such a special "home away from home." We absolutely will be back!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We love it when guests take our town by storm as you two did! A long, active day followed by a nice glass... You really speak our language! Hope to see you two again :) Annie and Chris

The cottage was perfect! It's so quiet and serene. The garden is beautiful. We enjoyed a glass of wine each night out out by the waterfall! Chris and Annie left us goodies for when we arrived (including coffee and cream!) which was very much appreciated! A wonderful getaway!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: We were glad that you got the best of a Victoria September! The garden will be even better next year as I won't be 9 months pregnant! Come see us again :) Great to have you two here. Annie and Chris (and Hunter!)

A comfortable, non-slick, charming hide-away within walking distance of Victoria's unique Fernwood neighborhood. During my stay the garden was in glorious spring bloom and I enjoyed reading quietly by the pool's waterfall. Perfect for one (or two?) people. When I return to Victoria I will try to schedule the visit when this lovely place is available.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.
Owner response: So nice to have you back there, Carol. Do come and see us again! Annie and Chris (and Hunter!)

We had a lovely stay in the Best Little Cottage Ever. The hosts were very thoughtful in the little extra touches they provided and very respectful of our privacy. The location is great for getting to all the action downtown/harbour. We would love to see the place again when the beautiful garden is in bloom!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We spent 4 glorious days in Victoria and this cottage centrally located had the feel of a mini-resort. The pictures show you the lovely garden; a respite with its own waterfall...very relaxing after a day of sightseeing and roaming, and you would not know you are in an urban setting. We had a glass or two of wine every night in the garden area. Great for a romantic get away. The studio suite is spacious and the bed is very very comfortable. We had our car with us and had various side trips. The place is located well for heading off to any part of the area. We were there for B.C. Days; partook in the various activites and crowds, and returned to our own "little nook of paradise" . When we return to Victoria we will stay here again. Oh, by the way, you can't beat the price!!!! We highly recommend the place and its hosts, Annie & Chris.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks John! Glad you had such a great time. See you again next year! Chris and Annie
