Sueño Azul is situated atop a hill overlooking the Sea of Cortez with views down the beach to the One & Only Palmilla Resort. It is located in the gated community of Rancho Cerro Colorado along the Corridor between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. It is a five minute drive into San Jose and fifteen minutes to Cabo San Lucas.
This beautiful custom home features four bedrooms in the main house and another bedroom in the casita. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and there are two bathrooms upstairs with the bedroom and TV room. Every room has a view of the Sea of Cortez so whether you are relaxing indoors or out you can watch the boats going by and the whales breaching out of the water.
The living room has a wet bar and surround sound system and the adjacent dining room seats eight. The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to dine in including a Viking range. Ceiling fans are everywhere as well as individually controlled room air conditioners. Upstairs from the kitchen is another bedroom with two bathrooms and a TV room. On the main level are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with twin beds, each with their own bathroom and private patio. Upstairs is the master bedroom and bath complete with walk-in closet and private lanai.
With perfect weather much of the year, you will want to spend your days outside in and around the infinity pool and spa. Grill your meal at the palapa covered BBQ area off the main patio. Then take a short walk down the hill to the gorgeous white sand beach. The home provides beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. for your use.
Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply getting together with family and friends, Sueño Azul is the perfect setting. The layout of the house allows for everyone to have their privacy and ample space for large get-togethers in the living room or patio areas. The home is beautifully landscaped with palm trees and flowering plants. There is a local manager who is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Words cannot adequately describe the breathtaking view from this home. Whether enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the patio, you will find yourself mesmerized by the water and the whales (when in season). As a friend so aptly described it 'a little slice of heaven'.

My girlfriends and I spent 6 days at this beautiful home. It was close enough to Cabo San Lucas to go into town when we wanted to, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet day at the beach. The grocery store was close by, the pool was clean and the home offered privacy and real comfort for 5 girls. We enjoyed watching whales from the house all week, and long walks on the beach without all the other tourists. I would highly recommend this property to families, girls get a ways, or trips with other couples. I look forward to returning again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have stayed at Sueno Azul twice now with my wife and had a perfect stay both times. We made one trip with our family and one trip with some close friends. The house is actually larger than advertised, it very comfortably sleeps 10 adults, but there are numerous other spots for kids if needed. We stayed in the ‘casita’ during one stay and it was great. It is basically a nice private care-takers house with a sitting room, small kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The pool area is certainly one of the highlights, we spent several days just relaxing and looking out at the water and floating around in the pool. The stereo is wired to speakers outside too. The hot tub is a nice treat after a day out on the water or a round of golf. We grilled several meals while we were there and took advantage of the great kitchen. There is a huge grocery store (Mega) nearby where we got fresh tortillas and salsa for snacking too. Overall, we are extremely happy to have found such a great place especially for the price we paid. We can’t wait to go back, we just wish we had more vacation time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I stayed here with two other guests last summer and had an unbelievable time. The house was very clean and has everything you need, including a great view, an infitiny pool and hot tub, and a small private guest suite for those who want a little additional privacy. The house also has a great layout with an open kitchen/living area, an outdoor eating/grilling area, and a beautiful inifity pool overlooking the ocean. The beach is a short walk down the hill for those who want to experience the ocean during your visit. The staff was also very respectful and responded quickly when we had a minor issue with the phone line. They also gave us great advice for dinning options in the city. I can't wait for my next trip back down to Cabo and I will be staying here again. Thanks!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: My wife and I began going to Cabo in 1996 and fell in love with the area. We love the weather, the people, the quaint little town of San Jose and that spectacular view of the water that we will never have in land-locked Colorado. We are semi-retired and love to play golf so this is a great getaway destination for us. It is wonderful to get on a plane in snowy Colorado in the morning and be sipping a margarita by the pool that afternoon. We love having friends and family come visit us in what we consider to be heaven on earth. We spend our days walking on the beach, watching the whales, playing a round of golf at one of the many fantastic courses in the area, and just relaxing by the pool. In the evening we love to go to one of our favorite restaurants in San Jose and then come home and watch a DVD or maybe watch the fireworks at Palmilla or the moon shining down on the water.
Why the Owner Chose Rancho Cerro Colorado:
We bought into a deeded destination club that dissolved a few years ago. Sueno Azul is owned by the members who were deeded on that home. We all share in the expenses and use of the home. The homes in the club were all in exclusive gated communities in Scottsdale, Vail and Cabo. We liked all of those locations so we bought into the club. It has worked out well for us as Sueno Azul was our favorite of all the homes.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The location of the home is the biggest benefit. We can choose to go into San Jose or Cabo San Lucas for lunch or dinner, we have our choice of golf courses in the area, we can walk to the beach (and a wonderful beach it is.....very quiet and not many other people), we can be anywhere we want to be in no more than twenty minutes. We usually choose to stay at home as the pool area is the perfect place to spend the day. We watch a glorious sunrise in the morning and a romantic moon rise over the water in the evening. We really have everything we need right there. We eat almost all of our meals outdoors on the patio under the palapa. We never tire of watching the mother whales teaching their babies to leap out of the water. It is truly a breathtaking sight and one that stays with you long after you've returned home.
