Our comfortable home is located on Ma'alaea Bay. Ma'alaea is Maui's best kept secret. A quiet area away from the congestion of the large tourist areas.
It is truly the most centrally located vacation area on all of Maui. We are only 15 minutes from Kahului Airport. The old whaling port of Lahaina is 18 miles north, Kihei, Wailea, and Makena starting eight miles to the south.
This spacious, well appointed condo is a rare corner unit on the second floor. The kitchen, with granite counter tops, is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Dine at the marble kitchen table, or enjoy your meals on the lanai.
The master bedroom opens to the lanai, and offers panoramic ocean views. This bedroom has a king size bed, and its own private marble tile and glass block bath. Sliding privacy doors separate this bedroom from the living room area. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. They share the second bathroom, which is also tile and glass block.
This unit can be rented as a two or three bedroom.
The living room area has a leather sofa and chair, and also has a reclining chair. An entertainment center houses TV, DVD, CD, and surround sound. Mirrored walls enhance the ocean view. The unit has island style decor throughout.
Step from the living room area onto the large lanai, and you are only 40 feet from the ocean. A perfect spot from which to take in the stunning ocean vistas, watch whales (in season), and if you look closely, you might even spot a turtle or two. Enjoy the incredible views of Molikini Crater, Kahoolawe, and watch the sun come up over Mt. Haleakala.
The beautifully maintained grounds are adorned with tropical flowers. The complex has a swimming pool, and an ocean side barbecue area.
The Ma'alaea boat harbor is just a short walk down the street, and this harbor is the hub of Maui's snorkeling, whale watching (in season) and sportfishing charters. Close by is the Harbor Village which offers dining and shopping. Maui Ocean Center Aquarium anchors this complex.
Sugar Beach begins at the end of the street. It is one of the quietest and longest beaches on Maui. Great for swimming, walking, running or beachcombing.
