Hebron house description
A home away from home.
This clean, well maintained family friendly home is located minutes from all that Cincinnati has to offer, as well as the best of Kentucky. This house is less than 10 years old, has a open floor plan that allows for family relaxation. It is modern, airy, and warm, and also has many amenities for your kids to enjoy (including a large room on the lower level with toys, a Wii, DVD player, as well as a large yard, with a deck, swings, a sandtable, and play kitchen). It is located on a cul-de-sac for privacy, and has a driveway for off street parking.
The three bedroom home offers a master bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with two twin bunk beds, and a third bedroom with a queen size bed. The playroom (large lower level room) also includes two futons (1 full size that will easily sleep two people, and a smaller futon for one adult or two kids). Two full baths are included as well- one located on the upper level, one on the lower.
A nice dine in, fully equipped kitchen with an island leaves room for many to gather and enjoy a meal together. Our table has seating for eight. The kitchen opens into a living room with a very comfortable sectional couch (that is also great for sleeping), and a LCD HDTV with a Blu-ray DVD.
The back porch looks over a large backyard that backs up against an open field and a treeline - offering lots of privacy. There is firewood and a firepit for nice nights outside. Kids will love to swing on the swings, play at the sandtable, and the play kitchen.
This home is located 10 miles south of downtown Cincinnati, less than 2 miles from the Cincinnati airport, within 20 miles of three local casinos, and 6 mi from the Creation Museum. We are minutes from many great local restaurants, the Florence Mall, movie theaters, and many other amenities.
This home is warm, spacious, well-maintained, and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Come enjoy, we would love to have you!

We enjoyed the activities for the children...games, puzzles, doll house, sand table, outdoor kitchen, and swings. We liked that there was green space behind the house, so that when you were on the deck or in the yard it seemed more isolated than you would expect in a housing development. The children loved running in the yard to try to catch their first lightning bugs, since they don't see them in Colorado! We did not use the fire pit because we did not see a hose or metal bucket available. We were also not sure how dry the ground under the fire pit was. We did see the long forks so those would be great for roasting marshmallows. We liked that there was such a large dining table and plenty of seating area in the living room, especially when we had some relatives over for dinner. We took advantage of the computer and Wi-Fi that were available and appreciated the access. The location was good with access to the airport, interstates, Kroger's, and a large mall. While staying at the house we mostly visited relatives, but we did visit the Museum Center at Union Station, Coney Island pool and rides twice, and COSI in Columbus. We rode the elevator to the top of the Carew Tower to overlook the city. We also took the Anderson Ferry to Ohio just so the granddaughters could experience it. We arrived after four on Monday as planned. Upon taking the trash out the first time we discovered that both trash bins were already full. It was difficult to discard additional items until after the pick up on Thursday. The bedrooms without ceiling fans were hot, especially during the mid 90's temps and high humidity the first week, ergo the purchase of the small fan. We appreciated that we were told that there would be some items at the house like toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Since we were driving that was very helpful to know what to pack in the car, however, we had already purchased some items, so it might have been helpful to know that info earlier. Occupants should know that the glass plates are not microwavable. It was very convenient to have the washer and dryer available. Overall: the listing discription was accurate, photos were accurate, property was clean and well maintained, owner was very helpful and understanding, and yes, I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Owner response: I am so glad you enjoyed your stay, and really appreciate the feedback! Most visitors say we have great access to all the local attractions because we are so close to Cincinnati! Since receiving this review, we will be certain to add access to water near the firepit (that is very helpful feedback!), and additional fans to be used at the home. We have also added a list of the items we provide to the email sent out before our visitors arrive. Thanks again for the feedback! We hope you come again!
We celebrated our parents 50th Anniversary by meeting in KY and going to the Creation Museum. Highly recommend a visit there. Your pass is good for 2 days. The Aquarium in Newport was also a big hit! The best find was the Gap Warehouse Outlet that is about 5 miles from the house. They had Athleta which was hugely discounted, The home was amazing. We had 6 adults and 6 kids. The futons in the lower level were useful. The home was clean and inviting and in a great location. Convenient to everything. We found Kroger Marketplace easily. Taco Bell and McDonald's literally just around the corner. For being so close to the airport we honestly never heard a plane. I would highly recommend this property. We were so pleased. It was great all being in one place and in big room and being able to prepare meals so we did not have to eat out. We met the owner and she was delightful. The home is decorated nicely and well kept.

Great, quiet, well maintained house. Perfect for a family vacation in Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. Wonderful owners, who provided a very nice house. Kitchen was big with lots of utensils. Great grill and deck for barbeques. The owners left a book with some very helpful information aboust nearby attractions. They also included a Kroger card which was very helpful. Very large Kroger store less than a mile away, perfect place to buy all the groceries you need for the trip. Very close to the Creation Museum, and other great locations in Northern Kentucky! Would definitely stay there again!

Senior Trip 2013
My husband and I chaperoned 10 teenagers on their senior trip. The home fit our needs just perfectly. The neighborhood quiet and we felt safe. There was plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils to cook for our large group. The laundry soap and extra supplies was a nice added touch. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was exactly as described, we stayed here for WGI CHAMPIONSHIPS and found it to be very accomodating for our team. We were pleased and found it very comforting to come to after a long day of competitions. Being here at the house kept us focused and relaxed. We would definately recommend this home, the owners were very responsive to any questions or concerns.

This house was a great place to stay with two families. We could take our own food and use the grill. Only 5 miles from Creation Museum. If you want the fire pit make sure to ask ahead of time if it's out of season.

Owner response: Thanks so much for staying. We often hear comments that the house is great for multiple families. And thanks for letting people know that the firepit is stored away when it is out of season (we like to keep our home in good working condition and the firepit is subject to winter elements and rest). We would have happily made that available to you. I apologize for the inconvenience.

The house was perfect for 2 families with 6 children ages 3 to 15. The master bedroom is huge and perfect for little ones to sleep on air mattresses or in sleeping bags. The open floor plan between the kitchen and TV area was sufficient to have all 12 of us hanging out before breakfast and dinner. The basement is a great place for kids of all ages to hang out and sleep and is also stocked with toys to keep everyone entertained. The weather was too cold to utilize the backyard; however, I'm sure this place rocks on summer evenings. The owners were very responsive, pleasant, and polite to work with. We spent 2 days at the Creation Museum and this house couldn't be in a more convenient location to the highway. The museum is only one exit north of the house. PS, don't forget about the Kroger grocery store "super value" cards in the red binder that the owners thoughtfully compiled with tons of stuff to do in the immediate area.

About the owner: My wife and our three kids lived in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area for about 8 years. We moved in 2012 to Northeastern Ohio to be closer to family. As a family we really enjoy just hanging out with our friends and family. We have tried to keep our life simple and flexible so we can make this happen as often as can. We travel back to Kentucky on a regular basis to stay in our home, visit friends, chat with the neighbors, and enjoy the many opportunities Hebron and Cincinnati have to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Hebron:
We love our home and how it feels. We try really hard to keep it clean and clutter free. You should get the same vibe when you stay here. It is always a breathe of fresh air when we get a chance to stay in our home, because of how it feels.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This house is warm and family friendly. Its conveniently close to the Creation Museum (a museum that brings the Bible to life), and all other modern amenities (movie theaters, shopping, dining). Its in a small Kentucky town, but 15 minutes from Downtown Cincinnati and all the culture and night life it has to offer. There are many family friendly parks and destinations nearby, as well as Kentucky and all its unique offerings (Bluegrass, Horses, History).
