Located on the top of a hill overlooking the Southeast Lighthouse, this wonderful home has spectacular ocean views in several directions. Our home is beautifully furnished and decorated. It is a perfect place to gather friends and family. There are three bedrooms upstairs and a two bedroom suite on the first floor with a private living room, entrance, dining area and kitchenette, which is included as an integral part of the house in the summer. There is also a first floor bedroom with a wooden cathedral ceiling. This room has easy access to a full bath and to the main kitchen, living and dining areas, and is ideal for those who prefer single floor living while still having access to the main part of the house.
There is ample room to be together around a large dining table (seats 14), or main living room and there are cozy nooks to be apart. There is a cupola with panoramic views of the island and the ocean. You can see the ocean from every room in the house. You can walk to the Southeast Light and Mohegan Bluffs, and down long stairs to the ocean. The ferry and downtown area are a mile away.
One third of Block Island is protected through Block Island Conservancy, Block Island Land Trust, Nature Conservancy and other agencies, so there are countless places to walk, each more beautiful than the next. Every salt-water beach is public. There are over 300 fresh water ponds.
If you want to gather with family and friends and enjoy the best that life by the sea can offer, this is the island and the home for you.

A warm and wonderful and spacious home. Ocean views from all levels of the house that totally relax you. Downstairs suite perfect for the kids /friends to have their own space. A great getaway that I would recommend to anyone!

This is a truly lovely house. It is spotlessly clean, everything is well thought out. For us, it provided peace and comfort. It brings the beauty of the island to you in so many ways...the light in the living room, the outdoor decks and living areas... Even when you are inside, you know you are on the island. It has a great kitchen...and so much more and the location is wonderful too.
