This was our sixth year renting a house in Montana. We usually rent just outside of Bozeman closer to the mountains. This was our first time staying in this house. The outdoor patio was a nice place for our family to visit and plan the next day's adventure. The house was large enough for us but the closets, refrigerator, you name it was full with the homeowners stuff. There were two half closets available for the four adults. Some of our family didn't have places to put their clothes. We had to remove stuff from the refrigerator so we could put our stuff in. they do not allow pets, but yet they do and dog hair was on the bed, etc. For such a large home we were surprised the beds weren't better. At least half of the beds were awful. There were lots of mounted animals so if you don't like the sight of dead animals, stay away. They were fine for us, just excess!

Owner response: Sorry for some dissatisfaction we have never had complaints on are beds. I had ask you if there was enough closet room and you responded that there was. I would have been happy to make more room for you if you would have needed it. We leave condoments and preserves in the frig for guest all are fresh again we had no complaints of this in the past. We due not allow strange pets in the house because of different smells and they my urinate. The house is a lodge sitting with lots of different full mount animals and head mounts, this should have been evident from the pictures on the web site and the owner had mention about the mounts in the house. Thank you for your comments.
Excellent location with room for all!
Excellent location with room for all!
My family just returned from a terrific and fun-filled week staying in this amazing location. Being in Gallatin Gateway, rather than Bozeman, ended up being a huge benefit since all of the activities we did but Hyalite were on this side -- tubing, rafting, hiking, zipline course, west entrance to Yellowstone and Big Sky just to name a few. The house was exactly as described and our hosts, Linda and Mark, were always a phone call away. Don't miss out eating at Stacy's and the Gallatin Inn's Porter House. Our kids also loved Post Office Pizza and don't forget the Pottery/Pie shop. The kids loved the tepee and playing in the stream. Thanks again to Linda and Mark! The Dekkers from Washington, DC
