Charming Cottage on Long Lake! Beautiful Views, Great Fishing

This is a charming, comfortable cottage on Long Lake, with a great open floor plan. It is a lake known for it's fishing, both summer and winter, being well stocked with perch, bluegill, bass, crappie, and pike. It is also a fairly low traffic lake, a camp owns a large portion on the shoreline, so the boat traffic is less than most lakes. The water is clean, so swimming is great, in the warm summer months the water temperatures are in the 80's! The fall is absolutely beautiful, since the view from the cottage is all woods on the opposite side of the lake. The dock has a large platform at the end, so taking a lounge chair out to the end and reading that book is absolutely perfect! The cottage has all you need in the kitchen, no need to bring a thing. Although there is not air conditioning, we do provide fans for each bedroom if the summer breeze happens to fail you!
Enjoy a wonderful week or two of swimming, boating ( there is a public launch on the lake and room at the dock if you bring your boat), fishing and hanging around the campfire!
If you must leave the beautiful lake, Fremont is also a charming little town with a performing arts center, a cinemma, and several worthwhile dining establishments and shops. Nearby Newaygo offers tubing and canoeing down the Muskegon River, shopping and more dining.
