Great lakehouse for your family & friends to relax on Flathead Lake. Lawn down to 100 feet of pebble beach is perfect for swimming right out the door. The dock will accomodate your boat for skiing, fishing, or just putting around the lake. The spacious deck has spectacular view of the lake, the Swan Range, and the lawn and beach below. Enjoy late afternoon cocktails on the deck while the BBQ sizzles dinner and the kids are playing in the water just a few feet away!
This is the perfect answer for a group of friends or two families looking for a good spot to enjoy the togetherness... but still have plenty of space for some privacy. The upper level has fully equipped kitchen for group meal preparation; the lower level has a wetbar, fridge, and microwave--- great for private breakfasts or snacks.
Four bedrooms have queen and double beds, plus several futons easily accomodate 8-10 people. Three full bathrooms make getting everyone through the shower easy.... just in case you decide to head off for an evening out in nearby towns. Off-street parking for up to four vehicles, with space to park your boat trailer onsite.

We had a great time at this house with our sons and their families. It has a very private beach area which is somewhat protected by docks and a marina so we felt safe having the kids swimming and snorkeling out a ways while the younger ones skipped rocks. The fire pit was not only for roasting marsh mellows but provided the ambiance for telling stories around the fire. The road out front has little traffic so it is a great place to take a walk or jog. We found the house had all the conveniences and was well stocked with the necessities and the owners were helpful and courteous. We have wonderful memories of our time at this Flathead Lake property and hope to do it again sometime. I would recommend this property for a visit to Flathead Lake.

Rollins on Flathead Lake is the perfect launching place to explore the lake, the region and nearby Glacier National Park. The rental property is perfectly situated at the very south end of the 2-mile long Rollins Lakeside Drive, providing easy ingress and egress to nearby Highway 93. This property has all one would want for lakeside fun (fendered dock for your boat, shaded lawn for visiting, a firepit for nighttime conversation, a natural swimming area, plenty of flat skipping rocks on the shoreline, and an ample deck overlooking it all). The house is set up for common area visiting adjacent to the deck, and we had many hours of fun both prepping our food and consuming it amidst lively conversation both at the indoor eating area and the outdoor deck. The 4 bedrooms are sufficient to sleep 8 comfortably. And having access to an empty garage was a plus for staging gear and loading and unloading. Neighbors are hidden in a dense forest on the south side, and several non-cabin sites on the north side combine to provide an unusual amount of privacy - we had zero neighbor issues, and did not seem to create any neighbor issues, even with a handful of boisterous teens. This property is ideal for a family vacation or a small family reunion vacation. My family rated this vacation as our all-time #1 (over a Virgin Island cruise and the Mexican Riviera!). We hope to return in a couple of years if this property is still available for rental.

Relaxing in Comfort with Beautiful Views
I stayed for six months at this house on the lake during fall and winter. It was a great time - beautiful views constantly, occasional eagle sitings, very quiet. The house itself is quite comfortable; it has a large open great room with sofas that open on a back deck overlooking the lake. It has two upstairs bedrooms and two downstairs bedrooms. There's lots of light getting in upstairs through the large windows facing the lake. The street goes on for two-three miles or so, with some offshoot streets to wander down. I rode the bicycle that was in the garage while geocaching in the neighborhood. Nearby are several state parks which are good for walks. Glacier isn't that far away, and the towns of Kalispell, Bigfork and Whitefish have lots of restaurants and things to do of a more cultural nature. Polson may too, but I didn't go that way very often. There's a decently good grocery store on Route 93 about 10 miles from the house in Lakeside and an excellent grocery store (Roseaur's) some 18 miles from the house also on Route 93 in Kalispell. The upstairs kitchen (I never used the downstairs kitchen) works great and is very well stocked with pots and pans and kitchen tools. Flathead Lake has extremely clear water; I brought a snorkel, facemask and flippers and enjoyed the clarity of the water. At night, when the sky is clear, and it usually was clear in the fall, you can see many celestial objects. The Rollins post office/general store carries, among other things, wine and Moss Farm apples when they're available - be sure to try the Honeycrisp.

About the owner: Mark and I recenly sold our business in Glacier Park. We are both native Montanans and grew up dreaming of owning waterfront property. We live in the farmlands east of Kalispell and have a daughter at Flathead High School. When not busy supporting school, sports, and managing our rentals, we love to enjoy all things outdoors. We've been here a long time and we love to share our amazing area with visitors.

We bought this property as our next home. It's just a bit overwelming to consider a move in the middle of our daughter's high school years... and the winter commute is a bit much for a teen.
