Just minutes from the beach, the town center, this intimate, elegant, traditional home with European influences, has three bedrooms facing the ocean with balconies and one overlooking the lush landscape, all equipped with their own air conditioning units for personal comfort. A large living room with built-in cabinets, wood burning fireplace, TV with Direct TV and wireless internet, flows into the formal dining room. Light filled windows open to lush gardens and manicured lawns. A large covered pool pavilion becomes an outdoor extension of the home for lounging or entertaining, with a dining area at one end, lounging at the other, equipped with sound system, all overlooking the secluded, private pool and lush manicured lawn. A fully covered outdoor dining patio off the side entrance has a “parilla” the Uruguayan grille BBQ built in, an updated full kitchen with service quarters and separate laundry. There is covered parking for 2 vehicles, plus parking space for 2 additional vehicles.
The interiors’ casual elegance with traditional, European influences is reflected in the furnishings, decor and design of the house. The secluded pool and pavilion surrounded by lush landscape and expansive manicured lawn, provides privacy, quiet and exclusivity for endless hours of relaxation or entertaining.
The second floor master bedroom with its own balcony overlooking the ocean is fully furnished with a queen size bed, Cable TV, and wardrobe. The master bath has tub/ shower, toilet and vanity. Also on this floor facing the ocean, are two fully furnished bedrooms each with 2 single beds, their own air conditioning units for personal comfort, and French doors onto the balcony. There are two full bath with shower also on this floor. An additional room can be used as an office or accommodate a single bed and overlooks the gardens. On the first floor, there are service quarters off the full, updated kitchen, a half bath for guests, and a separate laundry room.
On site gardener, maid and cook are included in the rental price. Gratuities to staff are to be paid by tenant.

La Barra is a small beach town community 15 minutes away from the heart of Punta del Este, 45 minutes from the local airport, one hour and a half from Montevideo. Known for its eclectic shops, restaurants, bars and discos, it is the art center of the area. Fashionable Jose Ignacio is a further half hour down the coast. For us, La Barra is in the best position between the big town life in Punta and the laid back beach lifestyle along the coast.
La Mantra Hotel just a few blocks away, offers use of spa, and health club, casino, movie theater, restaurants and pool.
