The Garden Suite is an exceptional place to anchor your stay in Savannah. The location can't be beat---it's right across the street from Forsyth Park in a beautiful mansion with spacious courtyards and gardens. The neighborhood is safe and fun with intimate coffee shops, restaurants, and a neighborhood bar that serves great food, too. This lovely suite is large and easily accomodates four to six people. There are antiques, comfortable beds, and furntiture you can actually sit and relax in after a day of walking the historic and victorian districts. Diana is helpful and attentive to your needs but never disruptive to your privacy. Best of all, this is a pet friendly place in a pet friendly neighborhood. Walk your dog and you'll meet someone new every time. We have stayed in a number of rentals in Savannah over the past few years. This is our favorite and we hope to return soon. Thanks Diana! My husband and I recently stayed here for our anniversary and for my husband's work conference. We were able to bring our dog with no problem! Having forsyth park right across the street made it so easy to take him on walks. It was a GREAT area and seemed very safe! The apartment was very clean and cozy. It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location - just across the street from Forsythe Park. Able to run every morning with my dog. Dianna was wonderful and gracious. Wonderful dog friendly property, my Golden, Zoey really loved Bachala! I spent almost a month in the garden level suite - had company many of the days that I spent there - it was very comfortable for my guests and me - had everything I needed. Hopefully will be able to return to this little home in Savannah!

We were in town for a long weekend for a wedding - five adults stayed in the house. We had no trouble with anything - everything was clean and organized. The courtyard was beautiful and we felt blessed to have the air conditioning waiting for us when we arrived! The location is unbeatable. We walked to everything in the city and always found parking when we did take the car. The Sentient Bean cafe down the street was a great place to get breakfast and Forsyth Park is absolutely beautiful. We loved waking up on Saturday morning and just strolling across the street to the Farmer's Market. All in all, wonderful accommodations.

So hard to leave

Could not have found a better place to stay for the month. Our mission was accomplished, relax and be part of the vibrant city. A great location, especially if you love to walk nothing was ever too far away. Our dogs, a Bassett and a Golden had a grand time as well. Dianna was a pleasant host. A must place to return to. My husband, dog and I so enjoyed our stay in this lovely garden suite. Our suite was extremely well equipped. We wanted for nothing. The courtyard was a lovely addition to our accommodations. With the amazing weather we made good use of it. As Forsyth Park was right across the street the location was second to none. As we were at the south end of the Historic District, we experienced a true neighborhood feel. Yet we were within walking distance of everything. As we were here for a month we had more than adequate space. Our dog and the owner's dog got on well which was an added bonus. Diana and Jesse, our hosts were wonderful. They were readily available to help out in any way they could should the need ever arise. All in all a terrific place to stay. Thank you very much. Larry, Cathi and Jenny

My cousin, my mother , and I arrived at the garden suite on July 16 and departed on July 19. Beautiful gardens and apartment. The owner, Dianna, was very helpful. The apartment was perfect and we enjoyed our stay there. Took walks in the park, close to Kroger ( a few blocks), 20 minutes from Tybee Island, close to downtown, pet friendly. In fact, Dianna's dog, Bach, was so cute and he did tricks for us. Perfect place for my mom who uses a walker and has impaired vision. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Savannah!

Nice, clean apartment that is furnished very nicely. Location is right across the street from Forsyth Park in the Victorian section of Savannah adjacent to the historical area and very convenient to everything. The house itself is a fine example of late 1800's architecture with lovely gardens on the property. It is only a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the trolley stop located on the eastern edge of the park. This is the best way to see Savannah. Don't drive. Joe, the owner is friendly and very accomodating. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity. Walter and Lynne

We had a wonderful stay in Savannah at the Garden Suite at this property. Joe and his wife were great hosts and helpful with area info. A short walk through the very active Forsyth Park or a $5 cab at night puts you right downtown and in the middle of all Savannah has to offer. The Suite was everything advertised and more. Spotlessly clean and well equipped with all you need. Our dog, Lucy, loved the garden, the easy access to the park and playing with Joe's dog, Baca, in the backyard. We loved our say at the garden suite! The location couldn't be better! Walking distance to the park and restaurants. The suite is beautiful and spacious, with a wonderful jetted tub! No problems at all with our whole stay. Joe is excellent to work with and quick to answer any questions! Would recommend this to anyone, a couple or a family.

We have found our home-away-from-home in Savannah. This was a marvelous place to stay. The amenities made us feel at home and part of the Savannah scene; Forsyth Park across the street, a quaint coffe shop the next block over; pet friendly, bikes to tour the city, a BBQ grill, a lovely private garden, and of course, we can't forget Joe. Joe made us feel at home giving us restaurant recommendations, food store locations, drive tour ideas and much more! This is a place you'll want to come back to!

We stayed for two nights with our extended family. The property was exactly as described. We had a group of 6, and we had plenty of room and never felt crowded. Nice park across the street. Within walking distance, there is a nice coffee shop. For anything else, you would need to drive. It is a short drive to the river area. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in a good neighborhood, this is it. We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. Our kids ran each evening before bedtime and felt very comfortable. Would recommend. Kitchen was fully stocked (only thing missing was dish cloths and towels- an oversight, I am sure). All you would need would be the groceries. I am sure property manager would have provided dish cloths/ towels had a I asked. He was very accommodating.

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We came on the spur of the moment for a long weekend and had the good luck to find this place. The location is perfect, right on the park (great for dog walking). Lots to do within walking distance, we rented a scooter and went all over the city. The apartment was very clean and spacious. We plan on coming back and telling everyone we know about it.

Enjoyed staying here while visiting Savannah. Beautiful gardens and nice atmosphere across from the park. The place was so comfortable and all the conveniences of home. Made visiting the city so much nicer than an impersonal hotel. Would highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay. It's nice and quiet & also with in walking distance to everything around the city. You will feel like your at home. There were 4 of us there with lots of room. The owner is great, makes you feel welcome. over all Savannah vacation was FANTASTIC.

Four of us (and a dog) stayed here very comfortably. The home is across the street from the biggest park in the city, and several locals told me there are many events held there throughout the year -- our weekend had a jazz festival. The location was perfect, and we also appreciated the personalized service from the owner, who made sure we were well taken care of. Overall a great stay, with no complaints.

This unit is absolutely wonderful!!! Very convenient location for our wedding at the Mansion and so easy to get in and out of! We took full advantage of the courtyard and LOVED the owner! Would absolutely recommend to anyone!!!

The apartment is beautiful, right off of Forsyth park and very close to a couple cafes. My husband & I stayed here during our honeymoon in Savannah and loved the whole experience. Walking though Savannah is gorgeous and the architecture is awesome. I'd definately recommend it.

This was a great place to stay directly across Forsyth Park. The location was perfect! The place was clean and looks exactly like the photos. The owner was very nice and lives on the premises. I would recommend this rental. We hope to come back next year!

We very much enjoyed our recent stay in historic Savannah. With so much to see and do the Forsythe Park area is a wonderful place to start from in the morning and retreat back to at the end of a busy day. Our vacation was complimented with the charming southern pleasures offered by the garden level suite on Forsythe Park. We found everything to be as pictured on the website and even more pleasant in person. This was our first experience with an online vacation rental property and from beginning to end the owner of this property answered all of our questions via email assisting us with the process. We did rent a car during our stay, although if it were not for a couple of day trips outside the city, it would not have been a necessity. Parking was convenient and readily available throughout our stay. We will certainly recommend this site to our family and friends.

The Garden level apartment was wonderful for our stay in Savannah. My husband's nephew was getting married in the Savannah area and this was the perfect place for us to stay. We had 6 people who stayed there and it was an excellent place to stay. The owners were very nice. The garden patio area was beautiful. Wonderful setup and location. Right on Forsythe Park, our dogs were in heaven. Very comfortable, plenty of room for the family. Loved it! Joe was great easy to deal with and quick to respond to emails.

This rental was clean and had like new pots and pans. A lot of times when you rent a vacation property the pans are old and you can't find a decent skillet to cook eggs in, not so here. It looks just like the pictures and is very well maintained. The master bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed had a thin mattress and wasn't as comfortable but they usually aren't. It is good for the thinner people in the group maybe. My grown daughters came with me the first part of the stay and then left on Wed. and my husband drove down. We did lots of walking and one of my daughters is a jogger so she enjoyed Forsythe every morning for her jog. There is a coffee shop in the next block. We drove to the river front because we wanted to do the walk along the river front area after we got to the river and there was lots of walking along that area so if you aren't in really good shape that is my suggestion. We would definitely reccommend this property. Joe gave us his card and told us to call anytime so he is readily available should you have any problems, but we didn't have any during our stay. City Market has restaurants and shops. We loved driving to all the squares and looking at the houses. A great place to visit with lots of things to do.

We stayed at this property for a long weekend with our dogs and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect. The property is located across the street from Forsyth Park which has a Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Restaurants, bars, and the Savannah sites are all within walking distance. There is also a market very close to the property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The gated garden is beautiful and we enjoyed eating breakfast ouside in the garden. The owner was also very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again.
