Dolphin Place is a recently remodeled 3170 sq ft seven bedroom, four bathroom house on the deep water of Murrells Inlet and 130 yards from the ocean. She is on 1706 Dolphin Street in quiet Gulf Stream Estates off S. Waccamaw Drive. There is a small sandy beach in the back yard beside the boat ramp on the inlet. There is a nearly new east 170 sq ft 7th bedroom with a day bed with 2 single beds and separate A/C. Dolphin Place is 2.1 mile SW of the Garden City pier.
There is a large inground 3.5-9 foot deep 16 foot by 32 foot pool, large new gazebo on the inlet, new west sundeck, new covered west porch, covered and uncovered large fixed 28 x 14 foot pier with 2 lights, electricity, and running water, and a 4 yr old 12 by 24 foot floating dock. There is an extended 12 foot wide concrete boat ramp for launching your boat into Murrells Inlet.

Boat rentals at.everythingmurrellsinlet. They deliver the boats to Dolphin Place.

My family enjoyed Dolphin Place with its new high end kitchen and great views of the inlet. We docked our boat at the new dock and fished from the pier. The pool and spa were great. The house was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this to a friend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Something for everyone. We have been vacationing in Garden City for over 30 years with extended family. We've had to split into multiple houses now now that our families have grown but this house is by far the best. My 80 year old mom was able to enjoy her water aerobics in the pool and even had a "class" for the rest of us. She then she sat under the poolside cabana to enjoy the cool breezes and watch the grandkids enjoy the pool as well. My brother and nephews (age 6-10) fished on the pier and we got pictures of some beautiful sunsets over Murrells Inlet and marsh wildlife for my sister in law to paint when she gets back home. Beach access is convenient as well. The kitchen is a dream especially if you are entertaining! Only suggestion I'd make is a set of handrails on one of the sets of steps going to the pool area to make it more accessible for the elderly. Overall, a fabulous place to vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The Dolphin Place was an excellent choice for my sisters and our families. The inlet was right off our dock to go kayaking; the ocean is only one street over; the pool and hot tub were loved by the kids and adults and fishing off of the dock was great. Thanks for a great week!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We just returned from what I feel is the best vacation we have ever taken! Special thanks to Dave & Eileen for the use of their beautiful rental home! Our ages ranged from 2 - 81 and everyone was happy and comfortable! My dad and nephew loved the fishing dock and were out there from noon to night. The easy beach access was wonderful and being able to then come back and relax by the pool, made for a perfect day! We will definitely be vacationing here again next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I would like to thank David & Eileen for a wonderful place to stay on vacation. Our family have stayed here the past two years during July & could not ask for a nicer vacation. It is great having the swimming pool as well as the dock and fishing area. This past summer the guys got into a fishing contest & had a blast. Several eels were caught as well as fish. It's a tremendous place to stay & I would recommend to anyone. Truly awesome.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

what a fabulous experience we had at your home. with 15 people (five couples, five children under 10) we were very comfortable and the floor plan were good. The very brief walk to the ocean (less than a minute), and the steps away from the inlet, the setting was nothing short of fantastic. from fishing off the pier/dock, to enjoying the very large pool, to sitting on one of the decks, everything about this place met our needs. only thing that would improve this place is get more kitchen utensils so the down stairs kitchen can be stocked.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We wanted to thank you for letting us use your Dolphin Place home last week. All of the family enjoyed it very much! The grandkids enjoyed fishing; so did Forrie and myself. The best vacation in years. We loved the pool and the beautiful inlet view. David and Eileen will make certain you have everything you need, and they even checked with us a couple of times to make sure we were OK. The Sullivan family will definitely be a regular at Dolphin Place. In fact we are already planning a long weekend getaway to Dolphin Place. Highly recommend this property.
