My husband and I were so happy for our decision to try a condo vacation. The view was spectacular! The kitchen had everything we needed and as we cooked, or made our sunset cocktail we had a view from the kitchen ! The bedroom was cozy. The bed was a little uncomfortable , but nothing to really complain about. The condo was emaculate!The condo was in walking distance to everything! We loved watching the surfers from out balcony. The beach was clean. The condo had all the amenities needed. Our hotel days are over.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I spent three lovely days in this beautiful condo. We were surprised to find a note of thanks and a bottle of wine upon our arrival. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The condo itself is well-maintained and very clean. Beds are comfortable. I usually don't sleep well the first night in a new place, but had no trouble sleeping here. The view of the ocean is beautiful - worth every cent you pay! You are literally within steps of the beach and the boardwalk. One of our favorate restaurants is the Green Flash, which is just south of the condo, on the boardwalk. We were really impressed with the security of the building too. Christy was always available for questions and very personable. (Thank you, Christy!) I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay on the beach!!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I were looking for a place to honeymoon, after getting married on Coronado Beach. We weren't too fond of staying at a hotel all week long. Ideally we wanted to stay at a place along the beach that had good views and a kitchen, and that is when we started looking at vacation rentals. Not only did this place meet our needs, but it completely exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was really nice and up to date, equipped with all the necessities one would need. The location was perfect in so many ways! We were literally just steps away from Pacific Beach. The area was quiet yet centrally located to night life, restaurants, and shopping. We even had a great jogging path right out front of the unit that ran along the beachfront, allowing us to get a few daily runs/nice walks in. The view was incredible (so far the best I've encountered!!) Almost every night we enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony and watched the beautiful sunset before our eyes. That in itself was priceless! Not to mention how serine it was for us to wake up each morning to the sounds of the waves rolling in...we even occasionally spotted dolphins during our stay!! We were truly sad to have to go, but will definitely be back!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were looking for a place on Pacific Beach to celebrate retirement since this is one of our favorite spots to vacation. It was perfect, the decor was beautiful, kitchen well equipment, everything you could want, even beach chairs, umbrella & boogie boards. The location was ideal to restaurants, shopping, ramp to the beach right in front of the condo & of course, the view was awesome (we took many pictures from the balcony). We were met by one of the owners who showed us around & gave us tips on various places to visit & dine. We are planning on making this one of our favorite places to visit every year. Thank you for a memorable time to start another part of our lives.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I cannot say enough good things about this condo. Having stayed at other condos at this address, this was by far the best. It was clean, beautifully decorated and absolutely everything you could think of was included. My kids even had boogie boards and sand toys at their disposal, and the bathroom came with everything down to the band-aids in the medicine cabinet! Although there was no designated phone line (who has a land-line today anyway?), we had (safe!) wireless internet. We even had the perfect designated parking spot right in front of the elevator! There is also a great roof-top deck with barbecues and amazing views. An added bonus (when it is heated and working - not always the case) is a jacuzzi swimming pool a short walk away available for use. The owners were wonderful to work with, and answered all of my questions quickly. They met us personally and took us through the apartment, offering tips on restaurants and things to do in the area. Our deposit was returned quickly soon after our return. The condo is well situated, beachfront, with amazing views of the ocean and within walking distance to restaurants, bars and grocery stores (Konos for breakfast is highly recommended!). The beach is a great family beach with great waves for surfing and boogie boarding (the only downside is the huge amounts of sea weed that end up on the shoreline, but the city does a relatively good job of moving it several times a week and this is a problem with most local beaches). We will definitely be returning to this condo on our next yearly jaunt.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed one week in this condo with our 8-year-old son. Not being familiar with San Diego, we received recommendations from friends as to what beach would be best for our family. Pacific Beach came highly recommended. Upon finding this place on VRBO, we booked and were very pleased with the accommdations and location. The condo was clean, well stocked and very convenient to everything. There are many restaurants and a Ralph's grocery store within walking distance. As we love to BBQ, we were able to BBQ on the top deck and, while doing so, we met a lot of locals and vacationers while watching the sunset. The ocean in front of the condo is very calm and kid friendly. During the summer they have lifeguards, which is an added security feature. We will definitely return to this condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Stayed one week at this excellent, first rate Pacific Beach condo with my family including two teenagers. The place is fabulous and for our next Pacific Beach vacation, it will be our first choice again! The entire place is first class -- a newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom, nice furnishings in the living room, stunning views of the ocean and beach below. After about a day I began noticing other small but important details such as the contents of the kitchen cabinets and drawers, how clean and in great shape it was, the entertainment system, etc. -- things that make a stay feel more like home. It reinforced my belief that the owners really care. Thank you owners, we'll be back!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I visited this condo for one week in April 2012 and highly recommend the unit. The owners were very responsive to our phone calls, e-mails and text messages, while the condo was very clean upon arrival and well stocked with kitchen utensils and condiments. It was also a nice touch to have an autographed copy of Gerry Lopez's book "Surf is where you find it" which I enjoyed reading. The shower head was at a comfortable height during our visit, while the queen bed was very comfortable for us. The excellent security for the complex is an added plus as is the hot tub in the pool area. We stayed at the condo for a week in March. The view from the living room is stunning. Two mornings we were lucky enough to see dolphins frolicking in the surf! The condo is located on the beachfront on the quiet side of the beach . A short stroll will take you to all the action if you want it.The kitchen was well stocked .Condiments, coffee and tea were supplied. The pictures on the website are accurate. The owner responded immediately to any e-mails or phone calls. We would definitely recommend this accommodation in Pacific Beach.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed here for two weeks Dec 2011. The condo is fantastic, clean with a fantastic view of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary items. I would definitely stay here again - and I did try to, but it was booked! The only nits I have are that it was a bit strange to have two queen beds in the master bedroom, and the shower head is really low. I barely fit under it and I'm 5'6". However - these are nits as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this condo - definite recommend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time in San Diego -- the boys didn't want to come back, and neither did I! It was so wonderful to wake up to the sounds of the ocean. And we made a point to get back to the condo to see the sunset every night. What we liked about this place is the following: 1) We weren't in a tourist-y hotel with loud parties and bars close by. 2) It took about 1 minute to walk down to the beach and to the walking/biking path. 3) Since we were on the 6th floor, we didn't hear the foot traffic on the path at all. 4) The kitchen was fully-equipped with all appliances. 5) The view is amazing - surfers surfing all day, amazing sunsets, and on one day, we saw dolphins. 6) The pool was really, really warm and we had it all to ourselves one evening.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

For anyone wanting a vacation with a view of the ocean and beach, this is the condo. It is perfectly located--right at the ocean front. It is quiet and very well maintained. The furnishings are like new, and the kitchen has gadgets galore and a supply of daily basics. Parking in the building's garage is very convenient. The Pacific Beach neighborhood has lots of restaurant choices, and many more restaurants are located within a few minutes' drive. There is a large supermarket just down the street. The owner replied immediately to our inquiries.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Incredible view of the beach, well stocked with basics, TV, stereo, and furnishings are modern and in good shape. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
