  We had a great time at Carillon. The weather was very cool, so we were inside a lot. The kids were disappointed that there was no cable in their rooms, but if the weather were warmer, they would not have even noticed probably! House was well furnished and cozy.

  House is located on the "west end" of the beach. A quick 5-7 min drive away from all the activities in Panama City Beach. We stayed during "Thunder Beach/Bike Week" and were glad to be a little bit away from all the noise yet a short drive if we wanted to check everything out. The house is quiet, beautiful and has everything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance/utensil to be able to make a nice meal (two grocery stores within 1 min). Bathrooms have plenty of towels, wash clothes, etc. Secured entrance into the complex with a 24 hour guard house. House is just a short (5 min) walk to the beach. Several pools in the development...one pool right on the beach. Another pool just a couple houses away from this property. Castaways is a sports bar located in the complex (walking distance) and is a great place to relax and eat with a water view. Owner is very attentive and responsive. Would highly recommend staying here (in fact we will be staying here again in the spring 2013).

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This place is a very nice, peaceful, well maintained property. It offered privacy at the house, very secure for our kids to venture out on their own, and a nice proximity to the beach. It's a close enough drive if you want to go to the Panama City Beach area for more activities. The owners of the property were very attentive even though they were many states away. We had a problem with the air conditioner and the owner couldn't have handle the situation more caring/promptly. We would highly recommend this house and are to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing get a way at a very nice place!

  This was our second trip to Carillon Beach; we fell in love with the gated community and knew we just had to come back.  We found Parrothead Paradise and it is probably the best bargain in the community.  It was clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed.   We loved the hardwood floors and tile.  The bedrooms were very large yet it still felt like we were in our own home, it was hard to leave.   It was really nice that the bedrooms have their own bathroom, what a luxury!  We were happy to have a washer and dryer and even better yet, they are on the second floor where two of the bedrooms are.  The porch off the master bedroom was very relaxing and nice to have coffee on in the morning. The house is in a great location next to the park, tennis courts and swimming pool and just a short walk to the beach.  The Erwin’s (the owners) were amazing and were great with communications.    We all talked about "When we come back next year we'll...." So our minds are already made up and we will definitely be back!   Thank you to the Erwin’s for sharing their wonderful home; it's amazing how many memories can be captured in one short week.

  After spending many years relaxing years vacationing in beautiful Carillon I have to say this was the best beach home we have stayed at. The pictures do not do the home justice. The kitchen is "truly stocked" with everything you will need to cook with. This was very appreciated. Although we are a family of four we will rent this home again when we have company. The set up is perfect for 2 couples and 4 children with private baths for everyone. The front of the home faces a traffic free common area shaded with trees and brick paths. We spent many hours on the shaded front porch, sitting in the rocking chairs, reading, drinking wine and watching the children ride their bikes on the brick paths. Just a few steps away from the tennis courts, play ground, West pool and park. Awesome value in Carillon. Your search is over, just book this home. Tips: bring lots of sunscreen, bug spray, and charcoal for the grill. Folding chairs for the concerts and movies on the green and beach. Also bring or rent bikes or a golf cart.

  We've been going to Carillon Beach for well over 10 years and it's still one of the best places on the gulf coast to vacation. Just a wonderful gated community that you should definitely check out. This was the first time we stayed at this property and we really enjoyed. We had two couples plus a six year old and a three year old. The house is the perfect size and only a five minute walk to the beach. Beds sleep great and it's a very comfortable environment. Nice porch to enjoy the nights on and plenty of room for our beach gear. The owner is great to work with and I would highly recommend this property.
