Just completed a beautiful weekend retreat at the Eagle's Nest property, the largest of a few managed by Blue Sky Ranch. The Eagle's Nest property more than exceeded our expectations! The place was in impeccable condition and is a very warm and cozy place set amongst the backdrop of the tranquil Skykomish River and the jagged peaks of the Northcentral Cascades. We had about 8 people in our party and the amount of space was just perfect! There were more than enough sleeping arrangements suitable for our group. The bedrooms are beautiful with views of the river and mountains from each room. The master bedroom is very spacious with a huge bathroom and sauna. There is also a full laundry room and plenty of towels and sheets. The kitchen is VERY well equipped with virtually any kitchen utensil you would need to prepare meals. The actual building is very beautifully decorated and is the result of the proprietor's long-hard work for many years. The large amount of quality wood work, iron work, and stone work, not to mention a mounted Elk head, really sets the scene as the perfect mountain retreat, easily accessible from the greater Seattle area. The fireplace and mantle area is the highlight of the living room, with detailed stonework and a remote controlled fire which keeps you nice and warm when the snow is falling outside. The outside/deck area is also picture perfect and includes a very nice full perimeter deck, which includes a hot tub, a propane fire pit with surrounding loungers, a beautiful long cooking island and propane grill. There are also plenty of picnic tables that allow for riverside dining with the beautiful backdrop. The hot tub on a cold night was simply amazing. It is a well-groomed probably 6 person hot tub (although can squeeze more in, for sure) with two jet settings, color-changing lights. The proprietor even had the temp set on 102 F upon our arrival! We were lucky to catch a very nice snow shower on our last night and used the wood fire pit (set on the land's edge above the river) to warm up and make smores. In summary, this property is very well-maintained and groomed and the proprietor's attention to detail and accommodating nature makes this property a must rent. The Eagle's Nest is perfect for large or small groups and is the ideal getaway from the Seattle area. I HIGHLY recommend this property and will definitely return very soon!!! Thank you, Christ, for an unbelievable trip!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I have stayed at a lot of really nice hotels and cabins, but the Blue Sky Ranch is by far better than any other place I have ever stayed at. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. It was peaceful, romantic, and secluded. You could hear the sound of the river from inside the cabin which was relaxing. The owner is so friendly and I was allowed to bring my dog. It is in the best possible location and I am so blessed that I have had the opportunity to stay at the Blue Sky Ranch. My husband and I will definatly be going back there! Thanks for everything Chris!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I want to start off saying WOW!!!! This beautiful Eagles Nest Cabin was everything I expected and MORE!!! It is a amazing cabin. It is modern, sexy, romantic, fun..... The views are breath taking, you are surrounded by the mountains, the rivers, fresh air, the scenery is simply to die for. Every morning I woke up to the Bald Eagles across the river soaring around. This is the BEST cabin I have ever stayed in. Chris was amazing. The house was SUPER clean, you really get what you pay for. The hot tub was so relaxing. It was so peaceful to sit in the hot tub while looking at the river and the mountains and the eagles flying around. I can't say enough about this cabin. It was one of the best vacation I've ever had in my life. From the bottom of my heart I will never ever forget that wonderful weekend at the Eagles Nest. I will make this a yearly thing for sure!! I already want to go back. Thank you Chris :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our Family & grown kids from Western WA & Eastern WA wanted to have a Family get together and dinner. We had a Nephew home from Iraq, and thought it would work out great before the Holidays. When we drove to the house it was very secluded. We opened the door to the Home and was in shock! We all had to take a second breath as it was way more Beautiful than the pictures... This place is a Best Kept Secret...Little did we know that our daughters had planned a secret wedding...Just for the immediate family... Beautiful and perfect! for the twelve of us. We shared Dinner, Joy and Happiness. The new Bride and Groom stayed over night, and now have a beautiful anniversary place to visit every year. Chris the Owner is Awesome and down to earth and is a pleasure to work with... Thank you Chris you are the Best!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
