  I booked this property for a girls weekend and it was the perfect spot. When we first arrived, we were blown away with how beautiful the house was and all of the lounging space. Mel was unbelievably nice, and gave a great walk through of the house, highlighting the amazing coffee machine. I have to admit, it was pretty wonderful to wake up and make my own latte. The sleeping situation was ideal, how can one not fall in love with Tempur-pedic beds. The store was about a mile down the road, and all of the action of Palm Springs was a short $13 cab ride away. The ideal spot for a relaxing weekend, I can't recommend it enough.

  We loved our stay at this lovely mid-century home with its beautiful pool and side yards. The house is a comfortable size especially with all of the outdoor space. The three bedrooms were perfect for us and our guest and we really enjoyed the beds and nice linens. The kitchen is small (two person only) but had all of the necessities. The dining room was great and we were able to host a couple of dinner parties while we were there. Loved, loved, loved the pool and spent many relaxing hour floating the afternoon away. Spa was great after a day of golf. Mel was terrific and me our every need. Many positives with only a couple negatives - the wind was brutal at times. We had several days of non-stop wind which was annoying. We weren't able to use the fire pit because of it. The noise from Vista Chino was also annoying but the airport didn't really bother us. Since we were in Palm Spings, we were a distance from the places we enjoyed which resulted in long driving time.

  My husband and I stayed in this house for 17 nights and LOVED every minute of it. The house is amazing and well stocked with anything you may possibly need. The house is super comfortable and very luxurious they really put a lot of thought into everything - the sheets, tommy h beach towels, awesome espresso machine, nice washer and dryer, furniture , sony bravia tv's this place has got it. Wereally enjoyed the pool and the pool heat was well worth it... we would swim twice a day (afternoon and at night) I also loved the hot tub very nice . The pictures do not do this place justice more gorgeous in person for sure !!!! I cannot say enough good things about this house -the outdoor space is perfect and offers many different areas to hang out and lounge around. We had plenty of room and liked this option a lot better than a hotel especially when we had guest for a few nights, everyone had a ton of room. I would definitely rent this house again and the owner Ray is a delight and Mel is awesome as well. They are both super professional and very nice, they really make you feel welcome. Mel is great and shows you how everything works in the house. Any dinner recommendations they offer -BELEIVE them Trios and Escena golf club both were to die for. We had a great "working" vacation and so happy we chose this house.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  My husband and I spent Christmas with family in Yucaipa, CA, then extended our stay in Southern CA at this lovely property in Palm Springs, where we welcomed in the new year! The owners have done a superb job of restoring this home to it's original 1960's "coolness". We entertained family and friends effortlessly here. Dinner for eight, no problem! The home is conveniently located near shopping, golf, airport, desert hiking trails, and historic downtown Palm Springs. Each bedroom is beautifully appointed, the outdoor spaces meld seamlessly with the interior, beautiful lighting throughout, wifi and all other techie needs attended to, although you might just want to disconnect and just enjoy this little oasis in the desert! A special shout-out to Mel, the prop. mgr, who met us upon our arrival and who responded tout de suite to all of our needs! Well done, and much gratitude. We hope to return again soon!

  We wanted to find a retreat for us and our 2 adult children and their spouses to spend a few days before Christmas together, this was the perfect home for that. We loved our stay so much that we cancelled our dinner reservations and ate in all 3 nights! The owner has renovated this Wexler to the hilt. Every detail was perfectly executed, from the fire pit to the built in espresso machine, no expense was too much for the owner to create this desert oasis. The kitchen had a good work space and was well equipped. Unlike some other homes we have rented, there was an abundance of towels and other necessities. The property manager was extremely accommodating and responded in a timely fashion to requests. The property is clean and well maintained. If renting in the winter, do pay extra for the heated pool as it is needed if you plan on swimming. The house is conveniently located to Palm Springs attractions. I bought all our groceries at Jensens which was about 10 minutes away and had an excellent selection, including seafood from Santa Monica seafood company. This is a great place for couples or a family with older children. We would love to rent again!

  Some friends and I went down for a weekend getaway and this house was absolutely perfect. Ray and Mel were great about communication and Mel met us at the house with sun tea and wine. The house is gorgeously decorated and has amenity imaginable. Also, this may sound weird, but the beds were like sleeping on a cloud! We had plans to go out and do some tourism on Saturday, but the allure of the pool was too much and we ended up spending all day lounging, sunning and swimming. It was the perfect Palm Springs weekend and I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

  I stayed here with four friends for a long weekend and could not have been happier with the experience. Ray, the owner, and Mel, the manager, met us at the house upon our arrival an explained everything - including giving us recommendations for places to go. In fact, part of the reason we chose this house, aside from it being absolutely stunning, is that Ray was very responsive and helpful from the first email I sent to him to inquire about staying there. He and Mel really made us feel welcome. The house has been beautifully renovated with attention to detail. Everything from the appliances to the linens to the silverware is high-quality and it's easy to forget you are staying in a rental home. The pool and hot tub are pristine, and we really enjoyed grilling out. Just as Donald Wexler planned it, we found ourselves flowing effortlessly between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The location is an inexpensive and quick cab ride to the center of town. We rented bikes for our stay, and that was a convenient way to get around as well. Really the only hard part of the whole trip was leaving. I will absolutely be staying here the next time I'm in Palm Springs, and highly recommend it!

  We had an amazing girls weekend here recently and I'm DYING to go back. The pool privacy, grill, jacuzzi, ad luxury mod century decor make this place. Stellar vacation spot. The manager was so accommodting ad helpful when we couldnt figure out jacuzzi settings he popped right over! Will be back for sure. My new fav place :)

  I LOVE this house! I recently returned from my 3rd visit back to this superbly redone Wexler, and although I didn't think it was possible to enjoy it more than my 1st visit, I DID. If only I could pick it up and transport it to every city I want to visit! The property is absolutely immaculate and very well maintained. Just about every 'creature comfort' you'll need is on hand - the owner has truly thought of everything you'll need to enjoy a comfortable stay. I promise you'll feel right at home. The house manager, Mel, was an absolute delight. He met us with a warm smile when we checked-in and also upon our departure, was consistently prompt at returning my emails + calls, and even showed up in no less than 5 mins to the house when we silly girls needed help with operating the spa!! His professionalism and courteous demeanor made my party feel sincerely welcome and utterly at home. This really is THE BEST place to stay in Palm Springs - I'll NEVER check into a hotel again while visiting!! Enjoy

Holiday and Special Event Rates:

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Coachella Music Festival - 4 night min.;

July 4th, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Pride, Modernism Week - 3 night min.

50% of Rental Fees due to confirm reservations.

50% Remaining and Refundable Damage Deposit Due 30 days before the stay.

Vacations Booked more than 180 days out are broken down into 3 Payments instead of 2 payments.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

Cleaning Fee: $150.00

Optional Pool Heat: $50/day

Early Check-In / Late Check-Out $75 each when available.

Pet Fee: $75

11.5% City of Palm Springs Bed Tax required on stays 28 nights or under. Stays of 29 Consecutive Nights or more are exempt.

Monthly Rentals pay the actual electric & gas bill and no bed tax over 28 nights.
