We had a wonderful time on our wedding trip to Water Island! It was the perfect place to getaway and enjoy this amazing island! The private beach access was great. We snorkeled everyday! Also, it was a nice walk to Honeymoon Beach where we could enjoy a drink and great lunches on the beach! The views were spectacular. And the people were so friendly! We made some lifelong friends and memories!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Jan and Bob Robinson sailed the Caribbean on their sixty foot yacht for more than 20 years, exploring the islands and entertaining guests. Choosing a beautiful island with an affiliation to the United States as a second home seemed like a great idea. They bought a home on the east end of St. Thomas and then two acres of waterfront property, adjoining Honeymoon Beach on Water Island. Bob, hails from Virginia, an attorney and loves to build (being also a civil engineer). He built the two-bedroom villa on the 500-acre island, which is now available for vacation rentals. Jan, a native of New Zealand divides her time between their homes in North Carolina and the Virgin Islands. Jan's adventurous life and culinary expertise have been featured in numerous national and international publications; she is a much sought - after speaker, host, judge and coordinator of culinary competitions. Jan wrote the Ship to Shore Cookbook Series and has promoted her books throughout the islands and knows them very well, so not only will she look forward to meeting you at the Water Island ferry dock (with a cocktail), but will be delighted to share any information that you may need to make your vacation – perfect!!.
