  This was our first time in Maui or the Hawaiin Islands for that matter and we could not be happier that we found Lahaina Roads 311!! It is everything advertised and more. This unit is very tastefully recently renovated and has everything you will need. The ocean view from the lanai is breathtaking. The owner Jan is a fantastic person to deal with and her recommendations were all spot on. This unit is very close to all amenities including Safeway, Starbuck's and Lahaina Front Street - all within walking distance. This is a great location to use as your home base while exploring the entire island. The grounds/pool are meticulously maintained by the resident Caretaker who takes great pride in his work. We recommend that if you are staying in 311 first check to see what previous visitors may have left (laundry detergent, etc.} before you purchase your staples. We used the standard iitems (cooler, beach chairs, etc.), that Jan includes as part of the unit, quite often. Also, take Jan's advice and book your excursions through Barefoot Tours. You will quickly learn that the 1/2 price or better rates that the Tour Vendors on Front Street offer are all just the typical "lure you into a Condo" presentation - but they tell you this after an hour discussing excursions with them and just before you are ready to pay them for the reduced rates. We would not hesitate returning to Maui in the future and only hope that this unit is available when we do. Aloha & Mahalo Jan!

  We had a wonderful stay. Everything about Lahaina Roads was more than we had hope for - very clean, well furnished, great location and view. We are so happy we found it. And - not just a perfect place, but Jan, the owner, was so helpful with everything we needed including tips on the area. Can't wait to go back!!!

  The place is really well equipped and quite comfortable. I enjoy cooking a lot and the unit had everything I needed to make some awesome meals. The location is perfect for walking into Lahaina and for a central spot to start off for day trips. Would rent again.

  It was exactly as described and shown in the photos. The condo was immaculate, well furnished including laundry machines, all kitchen appliances and tools. We even made use of the huge BBQs by the pool. Parking lot was near the manager’s office which gave added security for our car along with camera surveillance. Be sure to bring your binoculars. The view from the lanai was breathtaking while eating meals, watching the whales, dolphins, turtles, boats and surfers paddling their way across the sunset. Be sure to check the fridge and cupboards before buying groceries. It will save you a few $$. Don’t forget to give your phone # at the grocery store, you’ll save even more.

  This condo is absolutely lovely. I really appreciated the decor and the very good quality of everything from comfortable furniture, wall colors, heavy verdi gris finish lanai furniture, the ceiling fans, artwork, faucets(!), cookware, linens, etc! I even ordered some kitchen knives like the ones there when I got home! I am not a party person so enjoyed the quiet, safe and private location. The grounds and pool area are kept immaculate. I have some spectacular photos of sunsets taken from the lania....... just gorgeous.I saw whales everyday for 2 weeks! Take your binoculars! I am a seasoned traveler and must say this condo is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I would highly recommend it without any hesitation whatsoever. The rates charged are very reasonable. If you are not familiar with Maui, Lahaina is a really great area to stay .... yes it's a bit commercialized but there's a nice variety of galleries mixed in with souvenirshops and it's nothing like the Kihei area. The drive from Kahului to Lahaina alone is spectacular. FYI, as well as "Safeway" supermarket near the condo there is also "Foodland" which is just opposite but hard to see. Also in Kahului at the Maui Mall is a great "Whole Foods". Lastly it's worth it to track down the "Gazebo" which is a breakfast place mainly ...... about 7 miles north of Lahaina.You can't go wrong with this condo.

  My wife and I spent 6 nights here. This is a great location with a great view. Probably one of the few view rentals in Lahaina. The beach is not sand but rocky. Even so, there are many great beaches nearby. The unit was clean and well equipped. Although the property is starting to show its age, this unit is in fine shape. Very clean. Very well equipped. The view from the lanai is fantastic. The onsite property managers are always working to keep the property and grounds in good shape. The listing photos were accurate. I would recommend the Feast at LeLe for a luau. It is not your typical buffet luau. The food is brought to your table. There are actually 5 different 'meals' from 5 different South Pacific islands. Accompanying each meal is native dance and show from that island. For restaurants I would recommend I'o. Very good food and nice outside dining area. Also, Bubba Gumps was good for an informal meal but I thought it was quite pricey for where you are (basically a bistro) and what you get. For bicyclists, I would recommend biking down Haleakala. Even if you are not a bicyclist, viewing the sunrise would be worth the very early morning trip. If you are lucky the park ranger will chant the native Hawaiian sunrise prayer. Quite moving. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Jan, thanks for one of our most fabulous stays here on Maui, and thanks for all your help. Both my wife and I loved the Condo it was magical. The unit was even nicer than the pictures. Every morning during our breakfast on the lanai we watched the turtles popping up and down in the waves. The location was perfect for taking off on one of our adventures, or just strolling to town for dinner after watching the sunset. We will definitely be back, and are busy spreading the word to all our friends and family, you place is a jewel.

  Our first visit to Maui was memorable thanks to our accommodation at this well-appointed condo. The description as "ocean front" could not have been more accurate. Everything that you might need to set up housekeeping is there for your use. Should you decide to eat out, restaurants are within walking distance as well as a grocery store, water sport rentals, and a drugstore. From your lanai, you have an amazing view of moored sailboats, and the occasional kayak passing by. The property is well-maintained with an inviting pool and multiple barbecues. What was once a "bucket list" destination has changed to a "can't wait to return" in two very short weeks. Thanks Jan for all your help and excellent guidance!
