Why Sabino Canyon: In 2007 my wife, Sussan and I purchased a Town House in the Sabino Canyon area of Tucson. We planned to use the home for our vacations as well as use it as a rental when not in use by ourselves. As we live out of state we needed an agent to manage our rental needs. We talked to several large rental companies in the area and finally settled on one. However, after 2 months they had not even shown our home to a single renter. Meanwhile a friend told us about Karen King who owned a small personal rental business with a great reputation for getting renters into your unit. We fired the large company and employed Karen which turned out to be one of our best moves. Over the years, Karen has been consistent in finding excellent renters in a timely fashion. She has also been very effective at solving problems the renters have had from time to time such as minor plumbing or appliance issues. In fact she is so attentive to our client's needs that they have told us about how pleased they were and several have returned year after year. This latter point is very important as nothing pleases a landlord more than having excellent and thoughtful renters return. Now Karen has also been very helpful to us in providing suggestions concerning upgrades to the property. She has a very good eye at determining what prospective clients are looking for. In almost all cases we have taken her advice and we believe that we now are offering an outstanding unit of real value. Upgrading and maintaining your property when you are not overseeing it yourself is difficult unless you have a competent agent such as Karen King to help you with that important aspect of your rental program. In summary then we wouldlike to recommend Karen King as a Rental Agent in the strongest possible terms. She is attentive to your needs as a landlord, as well to those of your clients and to the property itself.
