My husband and two Old English Sheepdogs, Sherlock & Watson, stayed at this home for a week while our property was rented out (also on vrbo). What a delightful stay we had.. We LOVE Laguna Beach and we LOVED this home. It had all the comforts of home and more with the ocean view and large patios & decks. We sat in the hot tub and let the neck jets do their magic. We dined in five star restaurants nearby, visited the beach and had fun shopping in downtown Laguna at all the quanit shops (ok, I had fun doing that last part while hubby ate ice cream on a nearby bench). The neighborhood is quiet and and the perfect proximity to all that Laguna has to offer. The king size beds, with pillow top mattresses and down duvets & down pillows were a welcome retreat after a hard day relaxing on the beach :) The gourmet kitchen is beautiful and stayed that way throughout our stay since I considered myself on vacation, thus not having to cook. Nancy, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed and we couldn't be more grateful. We hope to come back regularly!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About: We are two university professors who love to travel, have two small dogs, named Ivy and Gizmo, four children, and are still anxiously awaiting grandchildren. Our favorite activities include cycling on all of the beautiful biking trails in Southern California, hiking, enjoying the beach, eating at local restaurants, gardening, and just spending time in our wonderful home in Laguna.
Why Laguna Beach:
My husband and I moved from Colorado to California in 1998 and fell in love with
Laguna Beach. It truly is a beautiful town with great restaurants, shops, and
scenery. We looked for two years until we found the perfect house. Our home is
on a quiet cul-de-sac, with lovely ocean views, and over 1500 sq. feet of decks.
Since purchasing our home, we have completed a major remodel, including a
new designer kitchen, baths, decks, hot tub, and cedar sauna. Our goal was to
create a cozy and peaceful sanctuary to share with friends and family. When
people come to visit, we always say, “welcome to paradise.” Although we are now working on the east coast, we are dedicated to our home in Laguna Beach and would like to share it with others. It is a very special place and we feel certain you'll enjoy it as much as we do!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home has been a labor of love as we extensively remodeled it, sparing no expense. We enjoy cooking in the designer kitchen, lounging on the oversized deck and patios, while gazing at the ocean. We love spending time together, relaxing in the giant spa or cedar sauna. With wide screen tvs in almost every room, our favorite tv show, sports game or movie is at our fingertips with a click of the remote. Of course, we also love to venture out our front door to find ourselves at the world class beaches within a couple minutes. Dining, shopping, art galleries, water sports, parks, hiking, biking, tennis, golf, you name it, we've got it all!
