This unique location 500 feet above beautiful Lake Nantahala offers residents constantly changing views of Lake Nantahala and the Nantahala National Forest. The front deck offers wonderful morning coffee views like the one on the opposite page. The covered back deck features exquisite sunsets for family and friends complete with Adirondak chairs and rockers. Each room in the home has unobstructed views of water and mountains.
This private, non-smoking home sits on approximately four acres in Nantahala Highlands and provides both convenience and privacy. Access to home is via a security gate. Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC), Andrews, and Franklin are 30 minutes away. Hiking, whitewater rafting, boating and shopping are convenient. Public boat dock is a short ten minutes away.
Master bedroom contains king-size bed, satellite TV, and full bath. Two guest rooms contain bunk beds (sleeps three) and two queen beds (sleeps four). Open kitchen and living area are well appointed and contain stone fireplace (firewood provided). Enclosed two-car garage. Wrap around decks offer both sun and shade for viewing the lake.
This home offers some of the most breath-taking views of one of the most beautiful, deep-water lakes in the Southeast. An ever changing scenery can keep you intrigued for hours.

Oh my gosh! The only thing you could do is make sure it is available any time we would like to go up there. What an incredible place! We read about 4 books each, relaxed, fished, hiked. It was absolutely fabulous. The kids and I were so relaxed, happy and in love with the scenery. I am from Colorado, but I love the North Carolina mountains so much more, and that view was incredible. Thank you. We will be returning often. I hope we kept the cabin in good order. We loved the outdoor pit. The roasted marshmallows were perfect to make my daughter quite hyper! And my son loved hiking up and down the hill by the house. Thank you again, Jeanne Jeanne K. Siragusa

You were right -- this is the stairway to heaven. We've never stayed anywhere with a more glorious view or more hospitable owners. Thanks for all you did to make our stay more comfortable. We loved every minute of being here and will certainly be back. If the chair on the back porch seems a bit more imbedded in the deck than ususal, it because I spent 90% of my time sitting in it! Please look us up if you are near Tampa.
