Winterpark is in an ideal location close to all the attractions Naples has to offer. Five minute drive to both the public beach on Gulf of Mexico with white sand and clean rest rooms, and 5th Avenue with its trendy shops and outdoor cafes.
Practical shopping is very close. Walmart is a 1-mile drive, and King’s Lake Mall with a fitness center and gym, Bank of America, Publix grocery store, Aldo’s Italian Restaurant, Subway, as well as a Starbucks is less than a 1-block walk away.
Our unit has just been upgraded with new paint. Bedrooms are separated by 2 bathrooms and large laundry room with washer and dryer for additional privacy. Very clean, very fresh and designed with comfort in mind, including a 32 inch flat screen LCD and HD TV with DVD blu-ray player.
Living area is large and spacious. Two sofas for extra seating and comfort. Large windows along end wall looking out onto palm trees, St. Augustinegrass lawn and tropical landscaping.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom a queen size bed. Both bedrooms also have cable TV with lots of channels including: A&E, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, TLC, LIFE, ESPN1, ESPN2 , GOLF, SPEED, as well as ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, PBS and CSPAN.
Both baths have linens, shower curtains and are stocked to get you started as soon as you arrive.
Kitchen has been stocked with cutlery and cookware. Lanai immediately off the kitchen for outdoor dining or your morning coffee.
Winterpark is very tropical with lots of palm trees and tropical plants. Located perfectly in Naples, close to downtown, ocean beaches and shopping - a snowbird's delight!
There is a large, private resort style pool with amply parking, deck chairs, rest rooms, showers, clubhouse with activities; six tennis hard courts; two bocce ball courts; and a walking and bike path (i.e. inside the condo laundry room there are two bikes, one male and one female, that are available for you to use during your stay).
Located 34 miles from Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers, and 107 miles from Miami International (MIA) in Miami-Dade County.

After renting condos in Naples for a number of years, in January and February 2012 my wife and I rented Kathy & Skip’s condo in Winterpark. We are glad we did. It is even better than it looks on VRBO. As expected, the condo has everything described on VRBO. Furniture throughout is up-to-date, clean and comfortable. More than adequate linens and towels are provided, as are extra paper products and other supplies. Appliances are up-to-date and the kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, and so on. In addition, there are unexpected extras that make the experience excellent. Two bicycles are handy for riding to the pool and around Naples. The washer and dryer are full-size and side-by-side in a large laundry room, which separates the master and guest bedrooms. The master bedroom's walk-in closet is huge. Large flat-screen HDMI sets are in the living room and master bedroom. An Xfinity bundle provides all of the digital and pay cable channels, wireless broadband Internet, and long distance telephone service. In addition to a blueray player, a DVR is in the living room entertainment center. Before we arrived we were concerned about the location because the condo is near busy Davis Blvd. and a firehouse. But the condo is remarkably quiet and relaxing. Outside noise does not intrude, not even when sitting with friends on the lanai, although the lanai faces the parking area. Since the condo is on the first floor, no stairs need to be climbed; the car is just steps away from the door. The windows in the living room and master bedroom reveal the nicely landscaped area behind the condo. The location of Winterpark is quite convenient. It’s near downtown Naples, restaurants and beaches. Another big plus for the location is its being just a short walk to Kings Lake Plaza with a Publix supermarket, 3 restaurants, a barbershop, beauty salon, bank, mail service, and a Starbucks. Winterpark itself is a delight, with its huge pool, tennis courts and community activities. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. Skip always answers questions promptly and is easy to deal with. We highly recommend Kathy & Skip’s condo in Winterpark.Recommended for: Age 55+.

About the owner: Kathy and Skip Bourque retired in 2005. In their immediate family they have three adult and married children, Michael, Melissa and Meghan; with five grandchildren, Jared, Jessica, Rachel, Ethan and Ryan. They hope to have a small Bed & Breakfast for rent in New England one day that is located on a lake just two-miles from the base of Mt Wachusett Ski Resort in Massachusetts, which is only a one-hour drive east to historic Boston and ninety-minutes south to scenic Cape Cod and or north to the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. Since 1989, they have been the non-profit travel coordinators of many two-way exchange programs with dozens of participants who have become their close friends from the United Kingdom, Europe and Russia. In addition to Red Sox Nation! (New England) and the Yankee Universe (New York), many of their friendly Winterpark neighbors (owners and renters) are from the upper Midwestern United States or are our Canadian cousins, eh. In 2012, the Red Sox move into a state-of-the-art, $77.7 million spring training complex on Daniels Parkway in southeast Lee County, near the Southwest Florida International Airport; and the Minnesota Twins have spring training at Hammond Stadium on Six Miles Cypress Pkwy., Ft.
