  My wife and I loved this place. It's a beautiful house with a amazing view of the ocean. The property is within walking distance to town. We like the quietness at night. Alberto the guard made us really comfortable. This place was clean with a amazing garden. We will return. This is a five-star property

  Casa Nicoletta. Wow! What a view! I remember sitting in the pool while sipping a drink and watching the boats on that deep blue bay. You can focus a bit closer and enjoy being in the middle of tropical nature (lots of parrots and birds). At night you see the lights of the town (it’s a small town – about 12 by 8 blocks) and the bay. The description and photos are all accurate and representative. The house is very new and nicely laid out. The two main bedrooms are large and comfortable. The third bedroom is smaller and needs more furniture. The lower main bedroom leads out directly onto the patio by the pool. The master bedroom upstairs has a balcony overlooking the pool. Great views and ventilation in every room of the house. All rooms have ceiling fans - you won’t feel the need to use the air conditioning. There is a full time (but unobtrusive and discreet) guard and helper - so no worries about the pool, grounds maintenance or leaving your things in the house as there is always someone on the property to help and watch. This house is a short drive and within walking distance to town and the beach. It is an easy walk down but tougher on the return uphill – you’ll be desperate to fall into the pool (water temperature is delicious). Finding the house the first time was a challenge so get good directions. Two short stretches of the road are not paved but easily maneuverable. San Juan del Sur is a really cool and fun place. The people are very friendly. It is very quaint and charming but at night you can easily find a party at the bars. Food and drink are good and cheap. The town can get hopping but up at the house everything is quiet and relaxing. Surfing is good at Maderas. There are many options for deep sea fishing, scuba diving and boat trips to various beaches. The eclectic Colibri restaurant is about 4 blocks away. I highly recommend Bambu restaurant which is right on the beach with excellent food and ambience. There is Maurizio’s pizza delivery if you don’t want to cook or dine out. The spacious kitchen has everything you need for those meals you want to cook yourself. There was a TV and an entertainment center but frankly we loved it poolside day and night so we only used the radio/CD (not iPod compatible so don’t forget your music CD’s). Our cell phones roamed perfectly but you can buy GSM phone chip or even a cheapo phone with rechargeable minutes to save money on local calls. Bottom line: We loved it!
