Cotuit bungalow description
Open the front door and experience the cozy atmosphere of the open layout where kitchen, dining and living are all in one big room with windows and glass doors looking out over the lawn and bay beyond. Walk through glass sliding doors onto the deck and enjoy the privacy created by the pine forest on either side of the property. Live on the deck! Have your breakfast before the others awaken, gather around for lunch, grill some fresh fish for dinner and enjoy the magnificent sunsets over the water.
Walk down the hill from the deck and through the pine trees to our private dock and experience the quiet and beauty of the bay and the birdlife in the rushes. The occasional boaters and kayakers may be on the water. Take a kayak out and explore the multiple bays that lead out to the ocean, past elegant waterfront properties, marinas, private docks and paddle up the Mashpee River Woodland nature preserve.
Another day take a bike to the Cotuit beaches or drive to the many Barnstable beaches for a picnic lunch and swimming. Walk along the trails at the nearby Nature preserve just down from the house. Stop at the golf course on your way to the General Store to reserve a tee off time. Stop in at the library to check out some books, use the computer, read the magazines, enjoy the cool quiet atmosphere. Walk to the town marinas to watch the boats coming and going, the sail boat regattas and the rowing club activity. Take in a Kettleers baseball game at the town "stadium" a few blocks past the General Store. Take a tennis lesson at the local tennis club -- there's a very good professional in residence.

The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
The beach pass gives you exclusive parking access to all Barnstable resident-only beaches and gets you in free to the beaches that charge. The Cotuit Kettleer baseball games in town are free and fun. Cotuit is a relatively tourist-free hidden gem of a town - the preferred way to experience Cape Cod's natural charm and beauty. The local library is very quaint and welcoming; the General Store is charming and has delicious prepared foods and good local chatter; the marinas are active.
