  We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Schwartz's condo in January 2013. The unit was beautifully furnished and in immaculate condition. It was extremely well equipped with everything from a large assortment of wine glasses through to a wide range of cooking utensils. River Strand is a great property with top-notch facilities. We especially enjoyed the resistance pool and fitness centre. There are many options for great dining in the area from Lakewood Ranch to Sarasota as well as an impressive menu at the clubhouse on site. We did not have a chance to try the three golf courses but that is on our future do-list. The Schwartz's were responsive and accommodating. As promised, we received our damage deposit back in a very timely manner. Thank you for a great getaway and we look forward to returning. Paula, Bill, Brenda and John Lindsay, Ontario

  My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and had an excellent time. The place is clean, well decorated and has all the amenities that you would want in a condo. I played tennis at the 8 clay courts near the clubhouse and really enjoyed the other players and time. Our condo looked over the 7th green on one of the three golf courses so having coffee in the morning watching the golfers was really nice. The owners have really done an outstanding job in providing an excellent place for vacationers. The place is near interstate 75 and an easy drive to Tampa, or Ft. Myers. My wife and I would recommend this place highly.

  We stayed here for a little over 3 months while our house was being built. The owner was very flexible on our end date and allowed us to have our cat stay with us. The condo was furnished with very nice furniture and decorations. The screened balcony had a nice view of the golf course and great views of the sunsets. The unit is on the 2nd floor, but close to the elevator. It came with 1 covered parking place. The community has several swimming pools and 1 hot tub. They close them half an hour after sunset, so we made sure to go over before dinner. The community grounds are very beautiful and we liked that the community is gated. There are also great trails in the area for biking, walking, or blading. The only minor issue we had is that I'm insanely sensitive to cigarette smoke and sometimes people smoked around the pool areas or in the hot tub or on their screened balconies and this bothered me, but it didn't bother my husband, so most people would probably be fine. We only had this issue occasionally over the 3 months. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

• Great Condo!

  We stayed in this new condo over Christmas while visiting family in the area. The owner was easy to work with and the condo was very nice. New, new, new. Nice decor. Fully equipped kitchen. The screened porch was great with a pretty private view of the golf course, lagoon and woods. A definite A+ condo.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, age 55+, sightseeing.

  My wife and I spent a month in this property and had a wonderful time. The condo is very well appointed and comfortable. It is located in a great gated community with 3 nine hole golf courses that are outstanding. The staff at the clubhouse is extremely friendly and accommodating. I would gladly recommend this property to anyone.
