Adorable, charming one bedroom cottage on Maxwelton bluff with spectacular views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, sailboats, cruise ships and bird life. 10 minutes to ferry, and seaside shopping in the charming town of Langley. Rustic comfort, romantic and a wonderful retreat. Has french doors to bedroom, additional sleeping loft, fully equipped kitchen, stone patio, little fish pond, and lovely gardens.
Dragonfly cottage is a perfect retreat or romantic get-away with an enchanting and magical quality. Very affordable at only $125/nite plus cleaning fee, and with 2 nite minimum
There are nesting eagles, visiting otters that occasionally play in the pond, resident hummingbirds that zip around in the garden and a symphony of bird life during migration!
Relax in the evening on the west-facing patio, listening to the surf and watching the breathtaking sunsets after a fun day of beach combing, biking, hiking, boutique shopping, farmers' markets, and all the amenities Whidbey island has to offer.

Dragonfly Cottage is one of my favorite places on the planet. When it is rainy and cold in the winter you can cozy-up inside with beautiful views of the garden and the sound, and when it is sunny and warm the wonderful patio and deck call you to bask in the warmth and soak up the stunning views of the Olympic range beyond Puget Sound. Sue is a wonderful woman whom has poured her heart and soul into making this property a sanctuary of beauty and tranquility. The design of the cottage is incredibly inviting and spacious and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I truly look forward to coming back again and highly recommend Dragonfly Cottage to all who are contemplating a trip to Whidbey Island.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

I stayed at Dragonfly cottage twice, and it is a charming cottage right on a bluff overlooking Puget Sound, with the Olympic mountains beyond, and the setting sun due west. It is very quiet and has everything you need for a lovely vacation. The owners are very nice and helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend it!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
