  When I walked into this unit I was very disappointed and it totally ruined my trip. The bottoms of our feet were black from walking around barefoot in the condo. They had seaweed on the floor in the bathroom that was from the previous tenants and some black gook on the tub. The light fixture in the kitchen was broken and someone came in after we checked in to fix it. That should have been taken care of prior to check-in. I understand wear and tear but a little paint to cover up the marks on the wall is easy to do. I called a few times about the wifi not working - we had to wash all of the dishes by hand because the dishwasher did not work properly. The utensils and all kitchen items need to be replaced....very old and worn out....grosssss......Only 1 pot! What a pain! Needless to say, I will never rent this unit again. I have stayed in a gorgeous unit at Lighthouse last year and it was not available for the date we wanted. We should have switched dates and have been in comfort for half the price. When I called for the 3rd or 4th time, of course the girl had an attitude and I said oh the hell with it. Just Beware!

  Owner response: We appreciate feedback both good and bad as it only improves our customer service. This Lighthouse unit is very nice and was very clean upon the guests arrival. The floors were cleaned and there was nothing on the bathroom floor. The kitchen is fully equipped and all items were inventoried during the spring to ensure that nothing was missing or needed to be replaced. If some of those items had gone missing, it was not reported to us by this or any other tenant. Unfortunately, as with any vacation rental, there are maintenance items that sometimes occur. We did send maintenance out immediately to address the dishwasher and light fixture in the kitchen when it was requested by the tenant. As you can see in the pictures of the unit, it is a very nice and we strive to provide all the comforts of home. If there is something needing to be addressed after a guest arrives, it is immediately taken care of.
