This beach bungalow is a step into yesteryear with all the modern amenities. It is perfect in every way. Newly renovated and furnished. You can dine right outdoors on your deck. The grill is ready to go. You can open the windows to hear the ocean waves from your bedrooms. You just drop your bags and head to the water for all Jerusalem has to offer. Our house at 6 Champlin Ave is a very quiet street in the village and our cottage is one of the closest to the sand. We counted once that 150 steps is all it takes.

About the owner: As undergraduates at the University of Rhode Island, my husband and I fell in love with the beach life. Years later, we knew we wanted to raise our family with that familiar appreciation for life by the sea. We took a drive into Jerusalem one day and landed on our cottage. We are only the second owners. It was built in 1939 and was passed down until we purchased it in 2004. We plan to do the same.
Why the Owner Chose Jerusalem: Jerusalem is a quintessential beach community and fishing village. It is remarkably preserved in time and without all the hussle and bussle of urban living. The Cottage is perfect for us as a couple and for our family. As urbane architectural preservationists, we were committed to it's tranquility as well as it's charm.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: For the beach life, the cottage is well planned out. It offers a wide open floor plan for kitchen and living space. You can spread out and settle in for a meal, a movie or a game of cards. It's all one floor, so easy to keep. The outdoor shower is very private and always yields hot water. The neighbors are extremely friendly and very hospitable. There is plenty of parking for your cars and day guests. Just bring your water toys, beach chairs and a suit.
