Thanks for a great time. The house was everything we expected for our family reunion. I would definitely suggest this property for younger families with children. If you are looking for a perfect property, it is not . There were a few minor issues like a toilet paper holder that was loose and some bumps and bruises on a few walls. Overall, a great place to visit with extended family. Steve and GenaOwner response: Thank you Steve and Gena, Im glad you had a great time. Their is so much to do at this property. Avoid this house! It was very dirty when we arrived, and we had things breaking down every day that we were there. It is poorly maintained. The pool was a dark green color, the AC didn't work in half the house, the floors had clumps of dirt all over, the drier was broken, and the kitchen stove top was smoking from inside the cabinet everytime we used it.Owner response: I am sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your stay especially when your complaints could have been easily rectified myself and or the management company. I apologize and wish that all of these situations would have been brought to my attention so that they could have been dealt with immediately. I would further advise all client who don't own homes to schedule a walk thru to avoid these kinds of unfortunate situations. It is important for all future client to understand that maintenance and cleaning deficiencies need to be dealt with immediately and during your stay. The agreement we have with our cleaning vendor is that they will clean to the CLIENTS satisfaction not the owner and or property managers specifications. THE CLEANERS WILL CLEAN THE PROPERTY AS MANY TIMES AS NEEDED UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED. Regarding the pool, I would advise everyone to notify the management company the second the water becomes unclear, cloudy and or algae becomes present and under no circumstance should you manually turn off the filter as this client did. We have weekly pool service and offer daily pool service and cleaning for clients who want the pool refreshed and cleaned daily. Otherwise client are on their own between the weekly service to skim the pools and advise us of water issues. The dryer and a/c units have been inspected and are in good working condition. Tenants need to understand that misusing controls such as thermostats and dryers by overloading a dryer and or setting the air conditioning thermostats to 60 when it 115 degrees causes problems. If you over load a dryer, you are going to experience extended drying times and poor dryer performance. If you turn a thermostat from 78 degrees down to 60 and the unit never shuts off, it will eventually over heat and blow hot air. It is faster to avoid overloading and dry two loads of laundry rather than than to try and overfill the dryer beyonds it capacity. It is also advisable if you desire lower a/c temperatures in the middle of the summer, you need to lower the thermostats slowly to give the a/c units a chance to rest and work properly. Cleaning the food spilled on the burner solved the smoke and burning smell. Thank you for your help.
