This beautiful, 3500 square foot, hand hewn log home is set in a tranquil wooded neighborhood only ten minutes from world class downhill and mogul skiing at the Winter Park / Mary Jane Ski Resort. If you prefer Nordic skiing just walk your equipment across the street to the meadow or or just blocks away is cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking in the National Forest. These same trails are great for mountain biking and hiking with your furry friend. Grand County also offers four golf courses, fishing, biking, boating, rafting or an outing to the world famous Rocky Mountain National Park. Don’t forget the Saturday night rodeo in Fraser.
You will feel like you are on vacation in this spacious three–level home that comfortably sleeps 14 in beds. This home is ideal for large families, reunions, church group retreat or any group that needs plenty of room while offering plenty of areas for privacy.
The first level has a spacious entry with a large closet for all of your coats, gloves, etc. - The heated garage has space for one car, as well as all of your skis and boots to dry out overnight. Also on this first level is a large family room with two sofas, one is a pull/out sleeper, a cozy electric fireplace and a large, flat screen T.V., a king bedroom, a large bathroom and a sauna for relaxing after a long day of outdoor activities.
The second/main floor is bathed with natural light from the southern facing two story windows created by the beautiful log beam vaulted ceiling. Relax in front of the rock fireplace or watch a movie on the large HD T.V. The black granite and stainless kitchen with double ovens has every amenity you can think of to create wonderful meals. There is a master suite with Jacuzzi, huge closet and king bed, a second queen bedroom, bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer are also on this level. French doors lead out to a large balcony that spans the whole front of the house for grilling and relaxing in the hot tub. Out the back is a fenced in area for your furry friends to safely be outside without wandering off.
The third level has two more bedrooms; one with two queen beds the other with one queen and a full bath with double sinks. There is an office/desk area and sitting room with a Sofa and T.V.

Thank you so much to Leslie and the owners for letting us rent their house! It worked perfect for our weekend getaway with all our friends and kids. The house was beautiful and very clean and maintained when we arrived. The only issue we had (and it was a small one) was the driveway is pretty steep and with the snow and ice it made it a little difficult for a few people to get their cars (without 4-wheel drive) up to the house. The 3 different sitting areas worked great (allowed for the adults to hang out in 1 area and the kids were able to watch a movie in another while yet others were able to hang out and play in another). Leslie was great to work with and very prompt with all phone calls and emails. Received my deposit back in a very timely manner. I know we all would recommend this place to anyone else looking for a nice quiet place to relax with family or friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

Beautiful Home!!! The home was very comfortable for our family and we enjoyed the views. We have been skiing since 1992 and this was the best home we have ever rented. Look forward to future stays at this home for other family events. Kitchen was well supplied to cook for our meals and it made us feel like home. This property was beautiful, well maintained and perfect for my family of 9 adults and 3 young children. Plenty of space for both adults and kids, great neighborhood, close to grocery store, restaurants and lots of activities! Leslie was helpful and very easy to work with. My grandkids especially enjoyed watching a moose nibling a tree right outside the back door! We recently stayed the first week in January. This is a wonderful house for a family vacation. It is truly a beautiful home and includes a hot tub, sauna and really nice living area. The house is tucked away on a hill but it is close to a grocery and skiiing and tubing. The home was everything that I expected as I drove up. This wonderfully appointed home was just what a group of ski buddies needed at the end of a day on the slopes. With shopping being so close, getting dinner was quick and easy. The home was inviting and stress free. From the gorgeous fire place to the large comfortable bedrooms. With the addition of the Hot Tub and access to the sauna, I was a little bit closer to heaven. It was nice to sleep in, have some breakfast, enjoy our beautiful surroundings and still get to the slopes to make fresh tracks. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay. I look forward to taking advantage of this opportunity in the summer as well. Spent a great New Year's weekend here. There were 9 adults in our group and we never felt cramped or in one another's way. Custom quality home, very roomy, with everything we needed. Nice to have 3 sitting/living areas, each with cable TV so everyone could watch what they wanted. Bedrooms nicely separated for privacy. Very clean & well-maintained. Leslie had lights on for our nighttime arrival and was great about anything we needed. Close to grocery store and to both town of Winter Park and ski area. Hi Leslie – thanks for sending our security deposit back so quickly. We have a truly great time at your place, and it worked perfectly for our group. It was great to have the big kitchen area open to the living room, so we could cook our Thanksgiving feast and watch football at the same time. Also great to have the various yard/deck spaces, as well as some separate living areas (always nice to be able to put the kids in front of a TV somewhere for a while!). The property was just perfect – so nice that we could all spread out and be comfortable, and a great location to boot. We will definitely keep you in mind for our future visits to the area. About the owner: My wife and I live inTexas and wanted a ski getaway in the winter and a cool mountain getaway in the hot summers. This home is a wonderful retreat for us, as well as a perfect place to have family reunions with our children and their families. The Winter Park/Grand County area has to so much to offer kids from one to ninety. We even love to raft on the Colorado River and go to the Rocky Mountain National park to hear the Elk bugle!

Our home is so close to the base of Winter Park, but is just far enough away that we feel like we are in our own little world in this quiet wooded neighborhood. In ten minutes we can be in the excitement at the base, walking around the town of Winter Park or to various places to bike or Nordic ski.

Winter Park Ranch is close to Winter Park/Mary Jane Resort, Devils Thumb Ranch, Solvista ski area, Grand Lake and so much more. Safeway is right on the way home from where ever you spend your day. It is close to every fun thing there is to do in Grand County. The wild life is amazing to watch from right outside the window too. The moose are everywhere.
