"Serenity Now" was constructed in early 2001 for the owners who had vacationed on St. George Island for several years. It is located in the East Gulf Beaches area convenient to everything on the island. The emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the white sand beaches provide a tranquil get-away from hectic city life.
This NON-SMOKING, PET-FREE, two-story, beach house is constructed on concrete pilings which set the living area high with great views. You can relax on two 8' X 30' porches on wicker chairs and sofas and enjoy viewing the Gulf of Mexico and sunsets or take a relaxing dip in the pool (heated upon request). There is easy access to the beach which is about one block away.
The top level contains a large great room with comfortable seating, a 32" color TV, DVD + VCR and access to a porch. The dining area seats eight comfortably and overlooks the Gulf. The kitchen with new beautiful granite countertops is fully-equipped with GE and Whirlpool appliances as well as a breakfast bar. Apalachicola Bay is visible from the north kitchen window. A tiled half bath is on this level.
The middle level has three bedrooms and two fully tiled baths with tubs and showers. In the master bedroom you'll find a king-size bed, color TV, access to the lower porch, and a private bath. One guest room has a queen bed and a TV, and the other sleeps four in bunkbeds and a daybed with a trundle. There is comfortable sleeping for eight. A full bath is shared. A washer and dryer are on the sleeping level.
The 12' x 28' pool is enclosed for privacy and is tucked behind windswept oaks. It has an in-ground grill for cookouts by the pool. And there is a poolside shower. Free internet access and wi-fi is available. There is guest storage for bikes and beach paraphernalia and covered parking for two cars. We ask that you treat our home and furnishings with respect. |
